Noctua NF-S12A FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (120mm, Brown)

I was looking specifically for a very quiet cooling fan. This one met my expectations. It really is very quiet. I used the included pin-shaped rubber mounts.

Ive been having moments where the Cooler Master fans in my case were making some more noise than usual at times, and it concerned me that they needed replacement.Plus, those fans were a pain in the neck to have to install in the first place, having to carefully screw them in in steps to ensure the screws didnt strip while making a path for them to install into the fans plastic and into the case to hold them securely. The screw metals were cheap.

Mounted 2 in the ceiling of our ice castle to circulate the warm air. Wired into the 12v lights and built a frame around them to match the wood in the shack. They dont move a lot of air, but enough to keep the warm air constantly moving and not cook the people on the top bunks ar night. Wired without the speed adjusting harness. You can hear them some, but not enough to keep anyone up at night. They use almost no power and were easy to mount.

I like Noctua fans. Im in for the quiet with good air flow. These are the ticket. Price could be lower.

Just what I needed

Yes, theyre great and super quiet. I put 2 of them in the top of my new Corsair 650D case. fit perfect and was easy to plug right into the motherboard, came with multiple extensions and connector cables to try. Simple, QUIET and efficient. I replaced the stock case fans that werent bad, but just had a noticeable amount of noisy that got to be distracting.
