> 24 hourThe quality of these fans are great but....I am not a fan of the mounting system. It does provide for a low noise mount but for my specific case it was more trouble than its worth. I have a Corsair Vengeance C70 case and the mounting knobs did not play nice with the proprietary grommets corsair uses. Also, given the location of the mount, it might be difficult even without the grommet issue. I would not, however, let that discourage you from buying this fan. It is great.

> 24 hourHo sostituito tutte le ventole del pc con queste noctua poiché cercavo il silenzio del pc. Il risultato è soddisfacente non eccellente. La conclusione è che se fatte lavorare al massimo degli rpm risultano rumorose. Ad un range di giri medio vanno bene. Per cui bisogna aggiungere qualche ventola in più per ottenere silenziosita e ladeguato raffreddamento del pc.

> 24 hourIch wollte das Lüftergeräusch meines PCs auf ein Minimum reduzieren. Noctua ist einer der besten Lieferanten für solche Wünsche. Nach dem Einbau, der problemlos möglich ist, war das Laufgeräusch im Grundbetrieb sofort auf ein Minimum reduziert. Bei höherem Kühlbedarf erfüllt der Lüfter nicht ganz meine Ansprüche. Eine Kontaktaufnahme zum Hersteller brachte mir sehr kurzfristig eine Ersatzlieferung, die allerdings ebenfalls an ihre Grenzen stieß, bei Drehzahlen an der Kapazitätsgrenze. Trotzdem würde ich mich wieder für Noctua entscheiden.

Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
