> 3 dayIm always pleasantly surprised by the performance and silence of Noctua fans. Even these cheaper redux models are excellent. I needed to knock down the socket temp of my cpu and two of these at the front of my case did the trick. Ive bought several Noctua fans now and will continue to do so.

> 3 dayI bought this from another supplier. I am very disappointed in the product. I have bought many 120mm fans from Noctua (the premium brown colour range) but this fan is horrible. It makes a clicking kind of vibrating noise, so Ive had to turn it down with a speed regulator to ~300rpm so I dont hear it. Obviously it barely moves air now so rather pointless. Get the premium range, they are much better.

> 3 dayNoctua has long been one of the best manufacturers of PC case and cooler fans both because of their good airflow/static pressure and their noise level relative to performance. Their redux line attempts to bring the premium you generally pay for their products closer to that of other average case/cooler fans and they do a great job of it. What you end up with is a flat grey no frills fan that in my opinion looks much better them the beige and brown combo of their normal fans, while also delivering much of the performance of their normal fans as well for about half the cost. These fans do not come with any accessories, just 4 screws to mount them in you case and thats it.

> 3 dayThis was ordered as part of a new build in a full tower case. The case came with front and back 120 mm fans which with the power supply and cpu fans made a total of four fans. That was probably adequate but the AMD A4 socket cpu was reporting mid 50s C on idle. Adding this fan to the top of the case brought this down to high 20s C and never above 60 with ambient temperature of 20 C. Still so quiet I cant tell when the computer is on. Ill be ordering a case speaker for the post code so I know the computer comes on. The case came with no speaker and my setup requires the computer to boot before I turn on the monitor.
