Noctua NH-C14S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A14 PWM 140mm Fan (Brown)

I built a system around this (and the case), aiming for a quiet PC and got exactly that. I followed the directions exactly. It is not only quiet, but effective. I didnt test the stock cooler for my Ryzen 5600x cpu, but even lacking that comparison, I can say this exceeded expectations. I would buy again.

I am giving the product 5 stars but not the customer experience. I received this, bought brand new, and gave as a gift. I was extremely embarrassed when the recipient opened the box and parts were free floating in the box. Two of the plastic bags parts were supposed to be in were ripped open. There was heat compound all over the metal plate. This was an obvious return no one bothered to check. While the part itself is great it took an additional 30 minutes to clean it and make sure all parts were in the box. Installation was fairly simple. I was impressed with that. My partial refund has yet to be credited to my account 24 hours later but that is an amazi problem, not a product problem.

Big, beefy cooler for my OC needs. Definitely worth the price.

Every CPU cooler I have ever purchased came with a back-plate, even coolers much cheaper than this one. This expensive cooler does not! They expect you to use the old back-plate that comes with your motherboard. Thats all fine, but my previous cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO which is a great cooler, but I have my old back-plate in storage someplace and it would be a nightmare to locate. Why not just include a back-plate like everyone else? They include an Intel back-plate, but not an AMD. I had to go to the hardware store to jerry-rig it to work. Aside from that, this is a good cooler, although overpriced. The reason I wanted this cooler is so it will cool the VRMs and northbridge.

Nice piece of gear. Easy to install, and fit easily inside Coolermaster n200 case. Temps have been very cool with included single fan in downward orientation.

Anything Noctua gets a thumps up!

It fits like a glove when you need a low profile, premium air cooled heatsink. This fit just barely in my Corsair Air Carbide 240 MATX cube case and on a Gigabyte GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 MATX mobo. I had to mount the fan on the bottom side to meet the clearance of the case, but if you have more space, you could add a second fan so that there are dual fans in push-pull config. I have it cooling an I5 6600K which is currently OCd and with Prime 95 running, Im still under 60C.

A principal object of this review is to provide the seemingly neclected Dell user with a relatively comprehensive path and projected success in resolving the regular and even dangerous overheating issues which so many of us experience with standard CPU coolers and multi-core processors.

This is the only brand of cooler that i would even bother to install in my new asus gaming tower.

大抵ＣＰＵ付属のクーラーで済ませているのですが、Ryzen3900Xで８０°Ｃ、ファンもゴーっと鳴ってることから、十数年ぶりにクーラー買いました。マザーボード　X470 Master SLI ケース　Antec nine hundred　　グラフィックカード　MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti AERO で、用途はPremiere等での動画の編集です。　NH-U12Aも考えましたが、ケースの大きさが心配で。　取りつけは思ったよりもずっと簡単でした。　若干４ピン8ピンのケーブルが通り道になってはしまいますが(下側にファンをつけたので）、何とかつながりました。 レンダリング中１２°くらい下がった感じで、まあよいのではないかと思ってます。音はものすごく静かというわけではないように感じますが、このケースなので他のファンの音と混ざっているから・・・少なくても「ごー」ではないので、よいかと思ってます。夏場になるともう少し厳しいのかもしれません。
