Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

Got mine 3 yrs ago and it was one of my best decisions on pc hardware. Liquid cooling is overrated after u try this beast. Go for it.

The NOCTUA NH-D15 ChromaxBlack is an excellent heatsink! In particular I think it is the best!

This is the best air cooler out there. The Noctua is easy to install, quiet and works great. It is a bit on the ugly side, with design for efficiency, not beauty. Like all air coolers of this caliber, the Noctua is quite heavy. There is no LEDs so there is no bling. Noctua does offer some plastic plates with colored inserts to give some color to the look but it is a bit expensive.

Se ve imponente dentro del gabinete, los materiales de construcción (desde que lo sacas de la caja) se notan muy premium. La temperaturas son increíblemente buenas para ser de aire, hice la prueba con mi i7-8700 que es bien calientito (sin delid ni nada extraño) y la máxima que alcanza es 67° con mucho estrés. Hice una prueba con todos los ventiladores totalmente apagados (de la CPU y la caja) y con el test de CPU-Z alcanza 98 grados después de casi 10 minutos.

I decided to build a new system but also decided to repurpose the other mini it’d system to a new task. The system got moved to an older fractal node 304. As I had been water-cooling I wanted something simpler. This fit perfect sans the second fan. The result is that the slightly unvervolted 9900k with an all core 5.0 ghz overclock runs very nice with no thermal issues and quieter that my water cooling solution had been.

This thing is massive but its great. Keeps my R7 7700X nice and cool.

I recently did a case swap, and I decided to retire my old AIO and go for an all black look this time. I decided to go with what many people say is the best air cooler, and the NH-D15 is a well built chonker. It is very easy to install, and it keeps my temps on par with what my prior Corsair AIO could do.

Did you come here expecting a bad review? I mean, its Noctua... just now in black, which is awesome by the way. Cooler itself is a beast, and fits my blacked out mother board and ram (which you cant see anyway , theres 4 8GB sticks back there, lol).

This is one of the most highly respected and effective in CPU fans. Noctua is a great company and everything came finely packaged. I got this through prime and Amazon and Noctua surprised me by sending this unit factory direct from Austria. It did not quite improve performance over the stock cooler I had. However, it is much much quieter! As shown in the photo, the second fan had to be raised because the memory would not clear. I had to eventually detach that fan because I have a mini ATX case and it was too narrow to support the fan height. It was pressed against the side of the case and the memory below. The cooler still works great with one fan though in the future, I may choose to go to a bigger case. Noctua fans last for years and years with a great warranty so I imagine I will be using this for a while!
