10-06-2025Product as advertised Fantastic cooler dropped temps and made things quieter. Just one note this dam thing is massive and barely fits the gap between socket and gpu in top pcie slot if you orientate it front to back. 160mm is just enough and i mean Just. Best fitted out side the case or your going to struggle.

> 3 dayMounting of the cooling coils to the motherboard was relatively easy, the main problem is the included fans. The attachment method is not very secure and popped off during installation of the graphics card and yes, I was careful. I purchased the item because of the two fans. During installation the second fan is listed as optional. If you are using an ASUS ATI motherboard it is not optional, it cannot be used. The fan is too large and if installed will interfere with memory installation. Placing the fan on the side opposite of the memory places it too close to the case fan. CPU temperature is well within limits; however I have not tried any overclocking. If you are using an E-ATI motherboard this may be a good choice other then how secure the fan mounting is. It does allow different orientations, but anyway you put it, the second fan will interfere. Problem could have been avoided if they had used a fan size that matched the coil dimensions. Would not recommend.

> 3 dayFirst off, I purchased this to replace a CoolerMaster ML360. I went through two of those units and replaced them due to the pump rattling so loudly. I have to say I am extremely happy with this cooler. Ive never seen a CPU cooler (water or air) come in such professional packing. Everything is neatly laid out in the box and labeled perfectly. The instruction sets are separate for each socket it supports, which I loved. No one likes looking at 40 pages of small print sheets trying to find their CPU socket and language. My idle temps are almost the same as the ML360. Id say they may even be 1-2C lower. However the noise is amazing. I cant hear my PC anymore. Those 3 fans on the ML360 were pretty loud, even with a fan curve. This is my first Noctua purchase and Id highly recommend them again (as long as they keep making black products! A+++++
