> 24 hourI bought this to replace a tower-style cooler that didnt fit well with my updated RAM. Installation is straight forward and simple if your board is not installed in the case. On-case installation (like mine) is a little trickier as you need to use the backplate provided and do the adjustments vertically. In terms of performance, I have no complaints, it performs as good as my old cooler in a significantly smaller package, which is definitely a highlight. Probably the major drawback is the price, but in my opinion is worth it

> 24 hourI use this in my Ncase M1 (glass panels) on my AMD Ryzen 7 3800X. Averages around 43 C and tops out at 70C. This is very impressive considering it is currently 90+F weather and inside my house is at an average temp of 85F

> 24 hourPros: Pretty quiet, fit my super SFF case without impinging on the RAM and leaving more room in the already small box.

> 24 hourThis is not quiet by any means. Yes its silent at 20%, but at 40-50% its already very loud, and at full speed.. lets say its worse. In addition, its very hard to install, because the cooler and the backplate have to be kept together when you put the screws, which go from the bottom up. You cant install one first and then the other. So I ended up making a sandwich with the cooler upside down, then the motherboard on top of it (fortunately its a mini itx), then the backplate, and with luck I got the screws in. Cooling is pretty bad too, at 50% fan speed and full load for a 65W cpu I have 70-71C, which is far more than I ever had with air cooling, but sure, its well within range of operating temperature.

> 24 hourGreat CPU cooler! Great build quality. Always been a fan of Noctua and I’ve gone with this cooler in so many other SSF builds of mine and my most recent one was in an In Win Chopin cools the CPU perfectly. It’s also about the same size as Low Profile sticks of ram so they should fit in every case possible. Apart from that, they’re Noctua and this is an amazing product. Highly recommend.
