It doesnt look as good an AIO in my opinion but still the chromax black edition doesnt look that bad compared to the brown original version.

So my MSI AIO was failing after about only a year or so. Found out there was a recall on it. Too late to get a new one. Idle temps were in the 70s. Decided to go with just a fan cooler this time. Not sure why, just wanted something different I guess. I have always heard good things about Noctua coolers so figured I would give it a shot. Now my idle temps are in the upper 30s and lower 40s. My room is a little warm, so maybe they would be cooler if the ambient temps were a little lower. But Ill take it. Under load with a few games it never went over 65C. So if you are on the fence, I dont think you will be disappointed.

Great cooler if you can find it on sale. A low end AIO would be around the same price and performance, but would possibly be a little louder.

I tried to fit a Noctua NH-D15 about a year and a half ago and it was too large. I ended up getting a nzxt 120mm aio. The pump failed and I was able to rma it for a new one. After a few months the pump started to whine again so I purchased the NH-U12A as it said it has 100% RAM compatibility on LGA115x which is what I have.

this cooler is perfect for my 10900k, Temps are at 55-60 under 100% load, if anyone is having problems with Temps with this cooler make sure its tighten to the cpu enough, I didnt have mine tightened enough and it got really hot around 80-90, overall amazing product, would buy again

Super easy to set up compared to liquid cooling. Ran an i7 13700k at 100% for 5 minutes. Warm air was blowing out but it sure as heck works and isnt super loud! Im using it in an NR200 with mesh panels, fits perfectly. I bent the fins a little bit by accident but easily fixable with a credit card.

Overall, I am happy with the result. I have always wanted black Noutua fans for years and finally they drop this. Compare to my Noctua NH-D15, Noctua NH-U12A is still comes with similar cooling performance as my Ryzen 7 5800x temp idles at around 27 to 30C and hits 40C for heavy work load. This is very similar to my Noctua NH-D15 but in a smaller formfactor.
