> 24 hourHave it mounted on a Gigabyte X570S Aero G with a Ryzen 9 5900X CPU. Using supplied thermal paste, CPU temps are a bit high for my liking. Moderate gaming loads are mid to upper 70s. I am going to try and reseat the cooler to see if that helps.

> 24 hourI choose Noctua for its Premium Look, easy installation and support for new socket even though theres ton of air cooler out there for cheapest price. Also, its hard to get one here in the Philippines as almost stores here are out of stock for this model. Thanks Noctua!

> 24 hourIt includes the LGA 1700 socket mounting kit and it fits fine on an MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DD4 mobo. They also include thermal paste as well. The fans are still attached using spring clips which work fine. The fans have nice rubbarised corners which helps with the assembly. Brackets are also included for AMD CPUs. The fans are quiet. Quality product by Noctua much better & less hassle than water pumps in my opinion.

> 24 hourQuiet, cool(about 65C°) overall and 75° hot core... with all cores at 4,500mhz. My old cooler was also a dual fan, but only 5 heat pipes and had to ramp up to 2100rpm(max) to keep same level of cooling as this NH-U12A, at about 1700rpm, and the fans are also a quieter design, with 7 heat pipes. Glad I bought it to make the computer quieter during gaming, without headset.

> 24 hourIve waited a long time for a black version of the legendary NH-U12A and here it is. Cannot complain, it looks very sleek, and cools better than all 280mm AIOs, sometimes reaching or even beating 360mm ones.

> 24 hourI will never use an AIO again -- sure they look cool, and the idea of water cooled electronics is also a neat, but after getting this cooler to replace the AIO I had go out on me (pump just quit one day), I cant believe it took me this long to get on the Noctua band wagon. My PC idles at between 30-40c, and I have never seen a spike over 65c in even the most demanding games. Best of all, this cooler has 100% RAM compatibility with most AMD and Intel boards, which was always my biggest concern when I considered a Noctua cooler. It seems as though Noctua realized this and came out with this beauty of a cooler, and its a nice stealthy black (although the brown and tan has grown on me). So I 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a cooler, or who has an AIO and realizes that even with a three fan radiator theyre not getting the cooling power theyd like to see. Seriously, and quite literally, a game changer.

> 24 hourI upgraded from a ryzen5 1600 with wraith cooler to a ryzen 7 5800x. The wraith can be used but doesn’t keep temps as low as other options. Install was very easy especially if i have AMD as it required being able to use the existing mounting equipment. For $100 its bulky and quiet, no LEDS but does the job. Could spend $130-$200 on liquid cooled options. Worked for me and my budget and needs.

> 24 hourSo my MSI AIO was failing after about only a year or so. Found out there was a recall on it. Too late to get a new one. Idle temps were in the 70s. Decided to go with just a fan cooler this time. Not sure why, just wanted something different I guess. I have always heard good things about Noctua coolers so figured I would give it a shot. Now my idle temps are in the upper 30s and lower 40s. My room is a little warm, so maybe they would be cooler if the ambient temps were a little lower. But Ill take it. Under load with a few games it never went over 65C. So if you are on the fence, I dont think you will be disappointed.
