Noctua NH-U12A, Premium CPU Cooler with High-Performance Quiet NF-A12x25 PWM Fans (120mm, Brown)

Good but I hate this color.

I wanted something thats so overkill I could clog it full of dust and still not kill my 1700.

5°c de moins sur mon CPU par rapport au précédent Noctua qui était déjà très bon.

Comme à chaque fois avec Noctua, le produit, les accessoires sont aussi soignés que lemballage. La notice et les schémas de montage sont parfaitement compréhensibles. Cest un peu plus cher que la concurrence, mais cest le meilleur au niveau qualité.

Ich denke Zahlen sprechen für sich. Um leiser zu sein, habe ich meine Hardware-Komponenten in ein gedämmtes Gehäuse umgebaut. Ich verwende jetzt Fractal Design Define XL R2 Titanium. In dem Tower ist mein AMD FX 8350 mit einem alten CoolerMaster Prozessorkühler im Normalbetrieb unter Windows auf 50 bis 60 Grad gelaufen. Bei Spielstart ging es dann entsprechend hoch. Der Noctua NH-U12A läuft unter den selben Bedingungen bei 20 bis 30 Grad. Der Einbau gestaltet sich für Anfänger recht einfach. Die Richtung der Luftbewegung ist auf der Hardware eingezeichnet, Werkzeug liegt bei, Anleitung ist so deutlich bebildert, dass auch ohne Englischkenntnisse Schritt für Schritt ein Einbau machbar ist. Dank des Klemmprinzipes der Lüfter am Kühlkörper klappt es auch mit meinem kleinen Mainboard und dem hohen RAM: Ich habe den Lüfter etwas höher als den RAM setzen müssen (versetzt). Achtung: Das funktioniert nur wenn der Tower tief genug ist. In meinem Fall reicht es, ohne das es zu knapp wird. Die Lautstärke ist angemessen. Für meine Bedürfnisse ist es okay. Ansonsten: die Verpackung des Herstellers und die Sortierung innerhalb der Verpackung erscheint mir hochwertig, der Preis war für mich das einzige Manko- und zugleich ging es mir aber um Leistung- und Format. Diese Leistung auf wenig Platz verbauen zu können hat mich halt überzeugt.

I bought this to cool a 5800x on an Asus Prime x570 Pro in an NZXT H510i case. Although it may not look like it, the standoffs for the mounting kit do allow ample clearance for the capacitors around the CPU socket. The vertical clearance is also fine; theres about 1/3 to 1/2 inch between the side of the case and the cooler.

It was a ok product, not too expensive from similar ones but not too much advantage

Although this CPU cooler isnt as pretty as some AIO or other water coolers, its cooling performance and silent operation surpasses just about all of them. Just search for videos online comparing CPU coolers and youll find good information before you commit to a CPU cooler. For me personally, the aesthetics of a CPU cooler wasnt a big factor. More important to me are the cooling performance and loudness factors. The Noctua NH-U12A is the best of the top CPU coolers for these two factors. Before I watched the videos, I always thought water based CPU coolers were the most quiet and was very surprised to learn that Noctua NH-U12A outperformed some of them in quietness. The only thing that bothered me a bit about the Noctua NH-U12A was that the clips that holds the fans to the heat sinks are not very effective. They dont hold the fans very tightly. I had to use some twist ties to tie the two fans clips together to make sure the clips didnt pop off accidentally. Despite this small annoyance, I still highly recommend the Noctua NH-U12A CPU cooler for those who want great cooling performance along with low noise.
