Greater than one weekI bought this cooler since I couldnt find the D15S in stock at a reasonable price in time, but I have to say that it gets the job done really well. My CPU is actually a lot cooler than I expected it to get at idle and performing tasks like gaming and multitasking with a number of apps open. I paired it up with a second identical fan like the one in this package as well. I cant hear either of them. The instructions also make it easy to install.

> 3 dayInstallation instructions are easy to follow. Kit contains all adapters for current CPUs and MOBOs. Ease of installation will depend on your case design. Easy if the back of your MOBO can be easily accessed, a few extra steps if not.

> 3 dayI was initially using the stock cooler that came with my 5600x, but the temps would go well into the mid 90C range so I turned off the boost and manually set the clock speeds lower until I could get a new cooler. After installing this one (which was quite easy btw) I was able to turn boost back on and not have to manually throttle my CPU anymore. I tested with cinebench and with all cores at 100% and fully boosted I get temps in the low 80C range. Much better but it still idles a little high. Maybe one of the bigger, chunkier coolers would help with that or maybe the 5600x just idles hot, either way Im pleased with it.

Greater than one weekFrom all of the hype over these Noctua heatsinks and fans Ive heard over the years I figured these would be silent as ninjas and cool better than any other tower heatsink and fan. It is not and does not. The cooling is ok but the fan definitely is not nearly as quiet as their reputation would suggest. I would not buy this again if given a choice. For the price, get yourself a nice AIO liquid cooler. For the record, my 10 year old Cooler Master 120mm case fans are quieter than the fan on this, and I run those at full speed.

Greater than one weekI use this to cool an AMD 3700x, temps do not rise above 70° C even under full stress testing.
