Noctua NH-U12S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-F12 120mm Fan (Brown)

Just to get this out of the way, this was my first time building a computer on my own. The stock cooling fan for the i5-4690k is absolutely awful and the temperatures were spiking up to 70-80 Celsius after a little gaming, so I decided to look into a more efficient cooling system so that I dont fry my first masterpiece. After reading nothing but positive reviews for the Noctua NH-U12 air cooler, I had decided to give it a try. The packaging was superb, all of the parts you could possibly need for installing it are there (as advertised, for both the LGA and AMD cpus). The instructions were laid out so even a new guy, being myself, could install this with a fair amount of PC component knowledge. The installation was a breeze, and after putting the stress testing on this bad boy and optimizing all the fan settings, the hottest my cpu has gotten was about 40 Celsius (but now its typically hanging around the 30C range). It moves air very quietly and efficiently through my whole unit, keeping everything else cool as well. For air cooling, this thing is an absolute beast and I will gladly recommend it to anyone who isnt quite ready/needing liquid cooling for their system.

Noctua tiene fama de fabricar de los mejores ventiladores en el mercado y lo confirmé con este. Muy buena calidad y funcionamiento perfecto después de 6 meses de uso. El color café no me encanta, pero funcionalmente, me parece que es totalmente recomendable

Cooling a 2700X. Very quiet and not too large. Great thermals compared to stock and a fraction of the noise.

A VERY quiet fan for your CPU. It looses one star because of the mounting hardware being a little weak.

Whats to be said about Noctua that already hasnt been said. This cooler is soooo silent and such awesome instructions. It was painless to install as the instructions are well written. I have all Noctua fans in my system, and I do love the color. Thank you Noctua

This was without a doubt the easiest air cooler to install, and it yielded amazing results for the price. This cooler does work for a budget air cooler, this keeps my i5-4690k at under 30 degrees Celcius when web browsing and watching youtube videos, during a heavy gaming load it stays roughly around 35-42 degrees. The looks of this cooler is a good bonus too, Im sold on this cooler and will now purchase Noctua coolers only for rigs that I build.

Linstallation a été assez facile, les images sur le document parle delle même, il faut juste bien faire attention. Après lavoir monté, lancement et...le ventilos démarre et sarrête... Mis dans un autre PC, même symptôme...Branché sur des prises fan, même symptôme (avec ou sans la rallonge de câble). je branche lancien ventilo aux mêmes endroits, marche nickel...Du coup jai remis lancien ventirad. Bref déçu car défectueux, mais respire la qualité sur la conception. 2 étoiles cest pour la perte de temps sur linstallation! La prochaine fois je testerais le ventilo avant et je vous conseille den faire autant! Retour Amazon le jour même!

Amazing cooler for the value, while still keeping RAM clearance in check. Took my R5 2600 from 63C idle to under 36 idle. Sound levels are way lower and I no longer worry about temperatures. Amazing buy, would recommend.
