Noctua NH-U12S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-F12 120mm Fan (Brown)

Its a Noctua and its expensive, but its worth the money. Its extremely easy to install, insanely quiet and keeps my Xeon nice and cool.

Well known brand in pc hardware world. In passed 15 years i have purchased a lot and never , I repeat NEVER experienced ANY issues , NEVER had problems , even hiccups. Company i trust the most . During all these years when even Apple sucks with quality and service- these guys ROCK ! and keep their quality in absolutely highest level . Respect and thumbs up Noctua !

Non sarà uno dei più economici, ma Noctua promette e mantiene: questo NH-U12S tiene a bada un i7 7700k persino con un leggero overclock del 9%, ovvero portato a 4.6 GHz, senza superare gli 80 gradi.

This is over 6 tall and needs an appropriate case to fit in. The profile doesnt interfere with the RAM

Nach dem ich mir ein Silent-Gehäuse angeschaft hatte und mein Boxed-Lüfter nicht nur zulaut war, sondern bei BF4 völligs überfordert, sodass die CPU throtteln musste. Habe ich mir diesen Lüfter bestellt. Ergebnis, man hört auch beim offenem Gehäuse nichts und kühlt sehr gut.

When it appeared that my order might take longer than I had hoped, I kept debating whether cancel the order and get a water kit. When it arrived earlier than originally stated, I decided to give it a shot... and Im glad I did! My new build has a 4Ghz i7 4790k that idled at ~72C with the stock cooler. Cranking the i7 up to 4.7 GHz, the Noctua NH-U12S keeps the CPU around 40C idle and 55C under load with the single CPU fan turning around 650 RPM. I had no problem with the cooler clearing the G.Skill Ripjaws X memory stick in slot 1. While I have the cooler orientated with the fan toward the PCIe slots (so it pushes the air out the top of the case), its obvious that a second fan would also clear the memory had I switched orientation.

Linstallation a été assez facile, les images sur le document parle delle même, il faut juste bien faire attention. Après lavoir monté, lancement et...le ventilos démarre et sarrête... Mis dans un autre PC, même symptôme...Branché sur des prises fan, même symptôme (avec ou sans la rallonge de câble). je branche lancien ventilo aux mêmes endroits, marche nickel...Du coup jai remis lancien ventirad. Bref déçu car défectueux, mais respire la qualité sur la conception. 2 étoiles cest pour la perte de temps sur linstallation! La prochaine fois je testerais le ventilo avant et je vous conseille den faire autant! Retour Amazon le jour même!

Exceptionally quiet and efficient cooling fan. Very easy to install, with the option for another additional fan (on the other side of the stack). My temperatures are averaging 22C (AMD 6300, GTX 970 16GB RAM) when browsing the internet on Chrome. Cant hear it unless I am actively listening for it. When gaming (Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 3), it is a very faint hum, but, again, nothing that would sound out of the ordinary. Will 100% be recommending Noctua to friends!

The item supplied was pre-2019 with a missing AMD AM4 mount kit therefore completely useless. Very disappointed.
