> 3 dayA couple of months ago, the system fan failed in my HP laptop. Six years of 12+ hours per day use, and it gave up the ghost. Since this required major surgery on this PC, replacing the system fan (required) was the first given, along with upgrading the internals and re-pasting the CPU. I know what some of you are thinking – “isn’t that good money after bad?” Fair question. A laptop that was adequate, but not outstanding, at the time of purchase wouldn’t otherwise justify the expense. Because of the system fan’s behavior, I also couldn’t be sure that it hadn’t caused thermal damage to the CPU. A bit of risk, to be sure, but I hoped that it could be resurrected into being the best that it could be and last a few more years. I re-pasted the CPU with Arctic-5 Silver, as it was highly-rated in many places. After re-assembling the laptop, though, I noticed CPU temperatures were all over the map, for no apparent reason. One thing I ran across later were numerous mentions of Arctic-5’s curing time, ranging from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. That was unacceptable, since the laptop doesn’t have the greatest airflow, and curing could take even longer, if it is dependent on some type of reliable air movement over the contact plate.

> 3 dayIs this so much better than the other pastes? I cant tell you with any degree of certainty, as Im coming from Arctic Silver 5, and the temps are about the same, maybe 1-2C cooler, maybe. But it works, keeping my i7 9700K cool, idle at 27-29c, and 80s C full load on Corsair H110i Pro water AIO solution. Wanted to try the Conductunaut, but didnt get the chance

> 3 dayI used to buy just about anything before for thermal compounds, but oh boy... I was wrong this is so much better. It helps a lot to disspate heat from the CPU and you hardly use much at all. I will keep buying this for a long time (I still have a lot though from the one I bought) when building new systems. Its easy to see is working. The CPU fan does not go as fast as before and the temperatures recorded in your system fans are a lot lower. You wont regret buying this.

> 3 dayInstalled this on 10 computers with single to multicore setups with different workload demands. Hasnt disappointed and I would highly recommend this for anyone who is in the task of replacing aging thermal paste. Read instructions since it states that there: 1) isnt a burn in time so just install and continue to use your pc as you would and 2) replace every 5 years to maximize your cooling operating temps.

> 3 dayLa he utilizado para un portatil de doble nucleo en uno aplique esta pasta y en el otro la mas vendida en amazon, y la noctua disminuye de 8 a 10 grados la temperatura. De momento no se ha vuelto a apagar solo el portatil esperemos que por mucho tiempo.
