> 24 hourChoose this product over Dynamat as it was way more cost effective with similar results. This is my first time installing sound dampening material and it went really well. So far I have all my truck doors matted. I plan on doing my rear cab, headliner and my floor pans next. Product does have some weight to it so take the time and prep your metal property so you get the best adhesion. I didnt notice any bad smell and it rolled on really well. My truck cab already has a noticeable difference as far as unwanted road noise and my oem stero sounds way better too. Overall Id definitely buy again and I plan on getting more for my headliner.

> 24 hourIm converting a Chevy Tahoe into a long term camping vehicle and Noico sound deadening mat is foundational to the build. Its super easy to install and adheres well. After full installation and getting the insulation and carpeting down, I went for a drive. The difference in noise level is definitely noticeable. Ill use this again in my next build. Also, after researching several brands, I found that the Noico product is thicker (so I presume more effective) at 80 mil. Other brands came in at around 50-55 mill and were generally more expensive.

> 24 hourIncredible product! I used this to sound proof my 2011 FORD F250 rear seat area and doors for a audio system install. PROS: -great value for your money -easy to install -made a huge difference in my interior sound -only 1 layer is required -strong adhesive -nice and thick -very moldable -came well packaged -fast shipping -absolutely no smell CONS: -I really dont see how you can go wrong with this product over the competitors at 10x the cost -wish you could buy more bulk sizes -aluminum foil cover will rip if you use a roller too hard on it The before and after interior sound quality is amazing. Im going to order another package of this to finish under my front seats and complete the truck. All the areas smoothed out really well as the summer weather warmed up the cab. No chemical smells whatsoever after a few weeks. TIP: Use aluminum tape to seal between edges and help fill gaps.

> 24 hourDont buy this to reduce engine / road noise in the cabin. Do buy this to improve the quality of the sound system. It raises the natural resonance of the panels you apply it to. Basically, if you have a large, unsupported section of panel (think like drumhead), apply this to the middle. The added mass and lower transmissibility helps that section vibrate less when your woofers are pounding at lower frequencies. I did all four doors, the back wall, and over the transmission on my 2015 Toyota Tacoma (while also installing new speakers all around). I also used the Noico insulating foam over the sound deadening mat at all locations. This takes some serious time! It took two days to do the entire job. Use cardboard templates on the doors to make work easier (mirror / flip the templates for the other side of the car). Clean everything with isopropyl alcohol prior to adhering. Buy a roller. Wear gloves. In my experience, sound quality was drastically improved, allowing me to turn the volume all the way up without distortion or rattle, even on the bass-iest of songs (partially due to the new speakers). More reasonably, I can now run my sound system at around 30% volume, and virtually all road noise is drowned out. Prior to this, I could still hear road and engine noise while cruising, even with the volume maxed out. Without the stereo on, it makes the vehicle feel more sound or stable (hard to explain). All in all, if you are down to invest the time and effort to install this (significant), and understand what you will be getting out of it, you will find it worthwhile. The quality is every bit of the higher end products, at a price point that makes it worth doing.

> 24 hourMy biggest gripe with any butyl mat is the smell but I cant say Ive gotten any really bad smells. It lays down pretty easy, I did the install in relatively cool conditions (mid to low 40s) just used a propane torch to warm up the panels quick. Id recommend this product.

> 24 hourApplied this to the floor of my car and it has helped somewhat, I feel the majority of sound is now coming from the doors. Ill have to undo doors and apply this product inside before updating my review.
