This is a review pertaining to 100% Organic Jojoba Oil - no brand in particular. This oil is very versatile. I use it for my skin, hair, to remove stubborn makeup and so forth. --SKIN: It is not heavy, does not break me out and provides much needed moisture. --HAIR: I have lion king hair. My hair is long, wavy/curly and can get a bit frizzy. I apply jojoba oil to my damp hair - on the scalp, ends, and basically all over. This oil definitely reduces my frizzyness and allows for my curls to form beautifully. *Tip for my curly haired gals: after you apply jojoba oil to your damp hair, rest your head on any cloth-like surface or better yet, go to sleep after. (I usually wash my hair at night) After 30 mins or once you wake up in the morning, your hair will be bouncy, curly and definitely NOT frizzy. Girls always ask how I manage to keep my curls in tact. Well, there you go. If you let your hair air dry alone, gravity weighs your hair down since its damp, thus not allowing your curls to form the way they should. *Tip for my foundation lovers: apply a drop of jojoba oil onto med-full coverage foundations prior to applying. It completely removes that caked-up makeup look and provides for a natural, flawless finish. It also allows for my makeup to better adhere to my skin and it lasts longer. I have very oily skin, so do not be afraid of adding oils to your beauty routine. Yes, I still get a bit shiny, but once I blot hello flawless!!! This oil is a must for anyones beauty arsenal. Its so versatile and its VERY inexpensive.

Jojoba oil is about the best thing you can put on your skin besides Shea Butter and Cerave/Ceramides. I used this on my near 100 year older grandmothers skin, head to toe, mixed with cerave cream after every shower and her skin quality rolled back decades her last year of life. She had the skin of a 60 year old. I’m not kidding. I use this for sugar scrubs and also to clean off makeup and to help other things soak into my skin. Also foot massages. Jojoba is so good at soaking deep into the skin, it helps other things you mix with it or put on after or before it soak in better too. I also use this with Shea Butter for doing facial exercises combined with acupressure. I use jojoba head to toe. I think I lent it to a friend once to help with scalp issues. Speaking of, if you want shiney hair put a little apple cider vinegar in a tall cup and then fill it with water and use it as final rinse on your hair. Leave it on for about a minute and then rinse. The smell goes away quickly and your hair will be happy. For extra credit, finish with a few seconds of cold water to seal in the shine. Comb right away. This is a good deal price wise too on Amazon. I have it on auto ship.

I have always loved NOW products and this is no exception. This oil is great for when you just get out of the shower or if your hands are super dry, a little does go a long way. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and not sticky or slick like some lotions do. I highly recommend using this oil with essential oils especially if you like back rubs this is perfect with peppermint.

I use this with some cedar wood and tea tree oil to make a beard oil. It works great. Im not a fan of the scent of the jojoba by itself, but with other oils I dont notice it.

Ever notice how Jojoba oil is an ingredient in high end, expensive hair conditioners? I picked this up last year and use it (sparingly) on my hair. You don’t need much - start with applying to ends. My hair is thick, supple and shiny. I also use a healthier dose on my hair before I use the sauna once a week or so. Results are amazing. Very pleased with this product, the pricing and results.

Acne is a sensitive topic for many folks and has had a significant impact on my life. I am proud to say, after 15 years, that I have cured my acne. Jojoba oil has been the primary reason for it. However, I believe that it has been effective as a result of a few steps. The products that I use would be jojoba, lavender (NOW Foods brand), and Exposed Skin Care. My routine: 1. At night, I wash my face with a cleanser (your choice). I then apply Acne Treatment Serum (Exposed Skin Care). 2. Right before going to bed, I apply jojoba oil and lavender oil to my face with a cotton ball. I apply the jojoba first, and then a little bit of lavender. 3. In the morning, I cleanse my face with jojoba oil and apply a hot towel to my face (look up Oil Cleansing Method). I then dry and apply the Moisture Complex (Exposed Skin Care). Ive left out my story of all of the products that Ive used over the years and the research behind why jojoba and lavender actually work with the oils in your skin. However, I want to explain that the Exposed Skin Care line is great, but I only use two of the products (Acne Treatment Serum and Moisture Complex). I feel that when those products run out, I will only use Jojoba and Lavender. Ive also adjusted my diet to exclude sugars except from natual sources but I wont go into the researach behind this either. I also think its important for people to understand, that at first, you may see little red blemishes as a result of starting this routine, but it goes away (for me, it wasnt bad at all). Its sad that this isnt a better known solution. It took me this long to understand that going natural is better. We live in a society that believes that harsh chemicals, applied to our delicate skin, are the only way to cure acne. Its no wonder I suffered, off and on, for 15 years. My hope is that someone out there is reading this and will take advantage of this cost effective way to reduce acne. Please, ask me any questions and I will do my best to respond. I want to help! I know how it is to have acne control your life.

Update - Since I decided not to return the oil, Ive used it for the last two weeks because it does feel nice when applied. After two weeks of not even consistently using it, I have noticed that my fingertips and cuticles are healing where there was cracked and peeling skin. My hands are smoother and softer and arent hurting from the dryness like before so this product gets 4 stars now. I would give it 5 if it was heavier and made my hands feel moisturized longer but I suppose its meant to seep into my skin in order to work on healing rather than sit on the surface. I ordered this because I read that Jojoba oil was good for dry, cracked skin due to dry cold winter weather. It has no smell good or bad which is fine. It applies like any oil and isnt any thicker than any oil which was the first thing that had me doubting it would be effective. My hands only stayed moisturized for a few minutes. Not worth the eight bucks it cost and not worth it to return.

I got this after using Argon Oil on my hair and this one popped up in the search results. The reviews were amazing so I gave it a shot. When I used it the first time I wasnt sold on it. It smells kind of funky like burnt nuts but the smell went away pretty quickly. It didnt seem as good as everyone said until the next day when my husband held my hand and said, OMG your hands are so soft, what did you do???..... I realized they were REALLY soft and I thought my hair felt like straw but I figured I would give it another try. The second use... WOW huge results. My hair is actually soft and doesnt feel like straw anymore. I bleach it to white so finding something that helps repair it without spending $100+ for Olaplex and this sure did it. I have tried conditioning treatments including professional salon treatments to get my hair healthy after bleaching it as I have very fine hair and it just gets killed with the bleach. Olaplex was recommended by a friend and it did work better than the other products I had tried but its just so expensive. I like this product much better and its a fraction of the cost. My hair went from straw with broken strands just flying all over .... to healthy strands that lay down on my head correctly. It does amazing for my face and body as well. I swear I have less wrinkles after using it and its much more affordable than Lancome skin care!!!! Plus no chemicals that could have adverse effects.
