> 3 dayUpdate - Since I decided not to return the oil, Ive used it for the last two weeks because it does feel nice when applied. After two weeks of not even consistently using it, I have noticed that my fingertips and cuticles are healing where there was cracked and peeling skin. My hands are smoother and softer and arent hurting from the dryness like before so this product gets 4 stars now. I would give it 5 if it was heavier and made my hands feel moisturized longer but I suppose its meant to seep into my skin in order to work on healing rather than sit on the surface. I ordered this because I read that Jojoba oil was good for dry, cracked skin due to dry cold winter weather. It has no smell good or bad which is fine. It applies like any oil and isnt any thicker than any oil which was the first thing that had me doubting it would be effective. My hands only stayed moisturized for a few minutes. Not worth the eight bucks it cost and not worth it to return.

> 3 dayI have a very oily face, and my primary use for this is face moisturizer. While It is an “oil,” it does not make my face more oily. The molecular structure of this oil is very close to your skins own oils, so your skin recognizes it’s presence and stops producing its own oil. Do I still get oily? Yes. But unlike other moisturizers, since this is close to natural skin oils, it doesn’t clog my pores and cause breakouts. Other uses I’ve found are: Makeup removal: similar to how people use coconut oil, this literally takes even waterproof eyeliner right off, no problem. Tattoo moisturizing: I’ve heard it has antimicrobial properties, not sure how true that is, but I’ve been using this in place of aquaphor on new tattoos and it works. My only complaint: it is very runny, and I can’t seem to get it out of the bottle without it running down the side. My advice is to do what I’ve done: get a tincture / dropper bottle and just put it in there, that makes it easier to apply to the skin anyways.

> 3 dayAcne is a sensitive topic for many folks and has had a significant impact on my life. I am proud to say, after 15 years, that I have cured my acne. Jojoba oil has been the primary reason for it. However, I believe that it has been effective as a result of a few steps. The products that I use would be jojoba, lavender (NOW Foods brand), and Exposed Skin Care. My routine: 1. At night, I wash my face with a cleanser (your choice). I then apply Acne Treatment Serum (Exposed Skin Care). 2. Right before going to bed, I apply jojoba oil and lavender oil to my face with a cotton ball. I apply the jojoba first, and then a little bit of lavender. 3. In the morning, I cleanse my face with jojoba oil and apply a hot towel to my face (look up Oil Cleansing Method). I then dry and apply the Moisture Complex (Exposed Skin Care). Ive left out my story of all of the products that Ive used over the years and the research behind why jojoba and lavender actually work with the oils in your skin. However, I want to explain that the Exposed Skin Care line is great, but I only use two of the products (Acne Treatment Serum and Moisture Complex). I feel that when those products run out, I will only use Jojoba and Lavender. Ive also adjusted my diet to exclude sugars except from natual sources but I wont go into the researach behind this either. I also think its important for people to understand, that at first, you may see little red blemishes as a result of starting this routine, but it goes away (for me, it wasnt bad at all). Its sad that this isnt a better known solution. It took me this long to understand that going natural is better. We live in a society that believes that harsh chemicals, applied to our delicate skin, are the only way to cure acne. Its no wonder I suffered, off and on, for 15 years. My hope is that someone out there is reading this and will take advantage of this cost effective way to reduce acne. Please, ask me any questions and I will do my best to respond. I want to help! I know how it is to have acne control your life.

Greater than one weekIve been battling extremely oily skin for as long as I can remember. Im not just talking about the type of oily where my t-zone begins to shine mid day. I mean the type of oily where 2 hours after applying my makeup, I look like I accidentally squirted baby oil all over my face. For the longest time, I thought that the way to combat oily skin, was to dry it out as much as I possibly could. I used to go over and beyond to try to keep my skin as dry as possible. I would wash my face with kojic acid soap and purposely not moisturize my face after. I would even apply milk of magnesia to my already dry face in hopes that Id be able to achieve that all day matte look. Unfortunately, not only did all of these methods leave my skin looking unhealthy and dead, but the more I stripped my face of its natural oils, the more my skin would just fight back and produce more! I finally decided enough was enough and did extensive research online to see which home remedies I could try to put my oily skin at bay. Surprisingly, I came across a remedy that mentioned applying oil to your skin to trick it into thinking that its already produced enough and stop it from producing more. I honestly thought this was the craziest thing I had heard...applying MORE oil to my already SUPER oily skin....what?!! But then again, what did I really have to lose? I decided to go with Jojoba oil because its not as heavy as some of the other ones such as coconut or almond oil and I began applying less than a dime sized amount to my palms and rubbing it into my face in the morning and at night after washing my face. I literally began seeing a huge improvement in the oiliness of my skin within a week. Not only was I able to wear my makeup for a significantly longer period of time during the day, but my face started to just have an overall glow to it. My skin now looks firmer and healthier than ever. I love this oil and for the price, you just cant really beat it. Who knew that oil would be the answer to my oily skin problems!
