noxgear Tracer2 - Multicolor Illuminated, Reflective Vest for Running or Cycling (Rechargeable, Waterproof)

> 3 dayI recently switched my routine so that I’m running in the morning. Unfortunately, it’s pitch black when I go. My previous solution was a lightweight yellow reflective vest, but those only work where there light (“reflective vest”); often that light is the car headlights already pointed at you. YOU CANNOT MISS THESE LIGHTS. Went out this morning and was definitely seen. Could tell that cars were stopping much sooner. The vest itself is very lightweight; it doesn’t constrict breathing while running and doesn’t bounce around either. Nor is it so bright that you’re blinded in the dark - I looked down a few times to make sure it was still on. Lots of color combinations across the LED spectrum to choose from. Great overall product. Won’t leave my home to run in the dark without it.

> 3 dayIt feels very lightweight and comfortable to wear. I had it on for long runs and I didn’t feel hindered at all by it. Different light settings are very useful for poorly lit roads and busier traffic areas.

Greater than one weekWe got three of these (S/M/XL) for use on our regular bike rides, and they are incredible. First of all, they are super lightweight and we dont even notice were wearing them (from a comfort perspective, you can obviously see them glowing/blinking/flashing). The sizes work great, our ten year old wears the small, my wife wears the M/L, and I wear the XL. Note that Im not small (64 and 300+ lbs) so the XL really can fit an XL person. The lighted loops are very long and go over the shoulders, and the belt is stretchy allowing it to fit a lot of different shapes and sizes. The only slight negative is that by design the main control unit is mounted on ones back, making it a bit of a chore to turn on/off or change the color/pattern by pressing the button, however this can be worked around by either a) getting it set correctly before turning it on, b) having someone else do the pressing for your, or c) reeeaaaacchhing way around and pressing it yourself. Were all flexible enough to reach it ourselves, but its a bit of a contortion and hard to precisely hit the small button. We would appreciate having the controls in the front, but its not enough of an issue to take away any stars given this products otherwise stellar performance. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayThere is no comparison between using this illuminated vest versus simply reflective clothing. Have worn on several occasions and the behavior of passing cars is notably different. They clearly see me earlier and make a better effort to make space on the road. There are cheaper versions of this, but I noticed that some of them only illuminate some central LEDs in the middle of the vest. This item has 4 illuminated flexible tubes that wrap over the shoulders and around the waist. Make sure you order a big enough size. Im about 6ft 250 and find that the XL is a touch snug when layered over a winter vest. Well worth the money!

> 3 dayAs an urban runner in Los Angeles, this vest provides excellent visibility for night time running. The lights are quite bright and are complemented by the retroreflective strap. The unit is easy to adjust for fit and is comfortable for long runs. The battery life is excellent and I appreciate that it is rechargeable with USB-C. I am surprised I dont see more folks with these considering how poor street lighting is here. Highly recommended for areas where you are running around cars that are not paying attention for pedestrians.

> 3 dayI bought this for my daughter who walks to work in the dark. It’s lightweight, bright and comfortable. It was with the price, in my mind.

> 3 dayI bought this when a driver slowed down on one of my early morning runs and said they couldnt see me well from behind. That should no longer be a problem! The thing with running gear for me is, if its distracting at all, its not really doing its job. The vest is lightweight, doesnt bounce, and fits securely with no adjustment needed on the run. I dont even notice it. Tip on the sizing: Im 58 with a 37 chest, typically wear a mens small t-shirt. I fell between the S and M/L size vests. Ordered both and the S is a much better fit with less out of the box adjustment needed and less tubing slack to manage.
