53 Female Age (mid-40s) Physique Athletic Purchased Med/Large - specifically, to allow for additional room to wear over various winter jackets, from thin, puffy, and layered (e.g. Columbia - inner liner and outer weatherproof shel) Pros: -Bright -Various colors to choose from as well as modes (e.g. blinky, slow rhythmic color changes); based on mode selected, will affect charge hold -Charges quickly -Light weight -Easy to stow (made a small bag to store when not in use) -Comes with a usb c-cable -Comfortable Cons: -The cable outlet: would be nice to have a cover (e.g. silicon or a sliding piece), to help keep out dirt, dust, pollen or moisture -I do have mobility in my shoulder to turn on/off the lighting; however, can see how this would be difficult for some with less range-of-motion, without taking of the lights altogether. This may not seem important to some, however, one scenarios of changing lights/mode for me would be in the woods hiking with a solid color, but moving towards a road to walk to a trailhead with traffic change the mode to blinky. -Understandable the elastic straps are sewn; but not providing a way to wash them or replace them can estimate how easily with lots of outdoor use (for me, mainly hiking w/ my dog, all weather/yearly) it will get grimy easily, inhibit smells, and wear out. -The clear lighting tubes, while sturdy are definitely not indestructible and could see them easily get snagged/ripped. -The plastic light - for those who sweat hard, this may stick to your back if there is direct skin contact. Wipe it down and keep the system clean. Overall: I like the system and would recommend. The price, for what it is, is very expensive in my opinion. Customer service is very good (quick to respond and resolve).

Everything about this is great, had zero bounce and definitely kept me visible. Based on the size chart I was on the very top of the small size or mid range on the M/L with a 36” chest measurement. I chose the M/L but wish I would have went with the small. The only thing that will take some getting used to is it is so bright it is hard to tell if a car is behind you or if it’s just the vest.

I got stopped many times at night while walking my dogs throught the neighborhood by folks thanking me for having such bright indicators to help them see me at night. Batteries last pretty well in it. My only complaint is that the plastic tubing broke at the ends where it enters the hub at the bottom on one side and the top on the other. My saving grace was that I stuck the tube in the opening and taped them and the tubes starting lighting up again. I have had it since 2020.

I feel much safer walking and running in the evenings with the Tracer 360. I am 5 feet, 118 lbs, and wear a size 4 shirt, and the small fits me okay with a modification. I like to wear the belt snug on my chest., tucked right under The Girls. Initially, the tube on the lower right side kind of stuck out and grazed my right elbows, but I modified it by tying a rubber band in the back, about 3-4 inches below the on-off switch, to fasten the two tubes together. This holds the tubes closer to my body so they dont keep whacking my arms. Ive only had it a few weeks, but it feels like the construction is sturdy. It certainly is bright! I have noticed that cars slow down and steer well clear of me on out suburban streets! Other walkers and runners have asked where they can get one. I do find the flashing patterns a little distracting, so I use the solid colors, which do not bother me. When I run, the weight of the unit on the back initially bothers me, but I stop noticing it after awhile, and I think a little discomfort is well worth the safety trade off. However, I have not yet worn it on a run longer than 4 miles since I am currently recovering from an injury. I am curious to see how I will feel after 10 miles. If it bothers me on longer runs, I will update my review to reflect that. But again, I think the safety it provides is well worth a little discomfort. I know there are cheaper versions out there. Is it worth it to have all the different colors and flashing patterns? For me, I think so. In well-lit, low traffic residential areas, I use a solid, milder color, like blue or green. In areas that are darker but have fast-moving traffic, I will use the flashiest of the flash patterns, which I find too distracting to use all the time. I also like to use the flash patterns or more unusual colors (like pink) when there are competing lights from buildings, signs, cars, etc. So I like having the options for different environments. But if you run in the same kind of conditions all the time, then you may be able to get away with a cheaper competitive brand. Final note: my Asian-American mother -- who *ALWAYS* thinks I have paid too much for anything I purchase unless it is on 80% off clearance and *then* haggled to get another 5% off -- thinks that the Tracer360 is money well spent, and now wants me to buy one for her. And thats pretty much the highest praise I can give any product.

My husband and I ordered these after seeing a neighbor walking in it. We have two large dark dogs, and taking them for walks at night was an iffy prospect, even in our well-lit neighborhood. But we are both clearly seen while wearing these, based on the comments we get from people calling out to us that they like the vests. We also wore them during a night-time 5K, and saw several others wearing them as well. I like the ability to change the colors or patterns of the lights, I feel like the flashing ones make people take more notice. Well worth the cost!

I bought this was my husband for Christmas as he is a long time super early morning runner. We live in a neighborhood without streetlights or sidewalks, and even with a head lamp and bright reflective clothing, we have had too near misses with distracted drivers. Grateful for the piece of mind… I can see him for a LONG way off and it definitely gets other people’s attention!

Ive had a few of these. Theyre awesome and get the job done with zero batteries. Only complaint is the tube is prone to snapping with X amount of wear. I keep mine hanging on a hanger when not in use. I think its unavoidable at some point. Helpful for running or walking in the dark...Ive even had motorists stop and thank me for wearing it.

To sum it up. I will be buying more of these if I ever have to and will be running with this for the rest of my life 5 stars! I find reviews to be really helpful when they are listed in a pros and cons list so here we go. Pros 1. Literally life saving. On my third run I was almost run over by a distracted driver. Which has never happened to me on a run before. I was shocked when it happened and they even stopped and apologized and said she reacted right away because of how bright this is. 2. Traffic immediately starts to behave differently when I run with this on. I can see almost every car drive around me as if there was a bubble like we are supposed to do with bikes. Its amazing. 3. Incredibly light and comfortable. I dont notice it all when running. 4. Great battery life and weather resistant. I have run with it while its drizzling and had no issue. I can charge it once and it will last me about a week and half with 30 minute runs everyday. 5. Great accessory. The additional light you can purchase with it works incredibly well. Highly recommend that. Cons. 1. The price. YIKES. However, very worth it for the safety that it provides, literally already saved me once. Plus the build quality is noticeable good. So that makes up for it. 2. Pay attention to sizing and check out the sizing chart. I wish this was more inclusive to bigger bodies. There are plenty of curvy runners out there that could use this. Not to mention all the road workers and night shift workers that could benefit from this in a larger size. For reference I wear a size small in Old Navy shirts and according to their sizing chart I use a M/L.

I typically do not take the time to write reviews, so this is obviously something that I feel very strongly about. This is an incredible piece of equipment. My expectations were pretty high given some of the market videos and the Kickstarter background, and I was ready to be disappointed...I wasnt. The attention to detail in the engineering of the this product is top notch. First, the reflective belt portion of the Tracer 360 Vest felt extremely supportive when adjusted for my torso. I purchased a large (Im 511, 185) and the fit was great on my fast runs 5K at 6:25 pace, as well as my longer training runs of 10+ miles. My point of comparison is a similar vest product without the LED from Amphipod, which would ride up on my chest, loosen around the shoulder, totally ruining the flow of my runs. The Trace 360 was simply part of me, once I adjusted it appropriately the first time I used it. The overall weight of the unit was hardly noticeable, but keep in mind that this is the winter season and I have several layers. The cool factor comes with the neon LED lights. Again here the engineering is awesome. You can adjust the different color settings and light flashing/pulse scenes while the unit is still on. No need to be a yoga master to reach back and hit the single control button. The same button turns the unit off. Easy of use is a 10 here. As far as different colors and light scenes, there is probably 10 or more, lost count. Another great piece of design are small round clamps that slide along the LED lighting strip that keeps everything snug, and again prevents sliding around during the hardest portions of your run. I have used this mostly during my evening training runs, where I really get noticed by cars, pedestrians, pretty much everyone. I have received a lot of complements on this product, and comments on how much this increases the safe-visibility factor while on the road. I have also used this during my early morning bike rides. I enjoy the comfort and light weight factor here too. Overall a great product, well designed, well built and super happy to have come across it. Highly recommend evening or early morning runs and biking.
