Using this for our iPad Pro 12.9. We purchased for the iPad an Otterbox Defender case at the time, and in the 3 years weve had it its done wonderfully well to protect it. The problem however is the stand which is built into the lid as the hinge often snapped. Otterbox had replaced it twice, but on the recent break they could not replace it as they no longer manufacture it. So it left us with an iPad in a well-protected case, but we no longer had a stand. That lead me to this product.

It holds my iPad Pro just perfect

Very sturdy and stable. Holds the tablet with its cover on in both portrait and landscape orientation (i.e., it has wider tabs than on many other models) . Heavy and resistant to tipping when using the touchscreen, with no slipping or vibration. Can be adjusted to just about any position (that maintains a stable center of gravity). The base has a soft rubber pad and 4 feet, so no risk of scratching your furniture. The tablet groove is also rubber padded for added proteection and stability. The flexing points are nicely stiff so it stays where you want it with no sagging under the tablets and covers weight. It folds compactly for portability (but it does weigh a full 3/4 lb [340g]). Highly recommended. PS: Dont worry about the iPad designation, its not exclusive; it works just fine with our Samsung Android tablets
