I like how this is made. It is very sturdy. I included a picture of the little grippy feet. This helps my iPad to not slide off of the holder. I also showed it with my Samsung Galaxy s9+. I really like how it can adjust to many different angles. Some of my other holders if I angle it down as low as I did on this one they tip over. Great buy for the money :-)

The stand is sturdy and adjust to different levels very easily. I can use it with my smart phone too.

I was skeptical when I removed this rather small holder from the package since I have a Fire 10 tablet but when I set it up in the kitchen I was pleasantly surprised. It is quite heavy which counterbalances the weight of my 10 inch tablet and the non-skid pads on the bottom as well as touching the tablet offers more stability. Plan to use it in the kitchen to follow recipes from digital cookbooks, etc. I have a small kitchen so this is ideal. The holder is so compact that I can easily store it in a kitchen drawer or cabinet when not in use. Arrived quickly.
