my laptop is not a light little macbook. Its an old thinkpad, weighing about 3lbs. that said, this stand still does what its supposed to do and I love it.

It is ergonomic, the height is actually very well for a tall person. I put on it my MB Pro Late 2019 and it fits very well.

I got this stand because I have Zoom classes and Im on my laptop for at least 6 to 8 hours a day. I try to have good posture, but just leaving my laptop on the desk forces me to tilt my head downwards. After a couple hours, you feel the strain on your neck. Using any stand in general improves your overall posture and relieves any pain or strain you may get when sitting for a long time.

Love this laptop stand. My wife bought one for her home office and instead of allowing me to steal hers, she sent me the link on amazon to buy my own. Works great and helps me to not be hunched over at my desk when I’m working on my laptop. Set up is simple, clears up space on my desk and makes me strain less.
