NuTone 89199000 Bulb Heater Grille Assembly

After extensive searching I finally found this replacement Grille! Had it within 2 days and promptly ripped out the old Grille and installed this unit within 15 minutes. Words of advice for those use Bathroom Heater Bulbs. When you replace burned out bulbs use extra caution and insure that the bulb does not touch this plastic Grille. Those bulbs get very hot and will easily melt the plastic. Also, make sure that the Bulb Heater is on a timer so that it only stays on as long as necessary.Many homes have caught on fire as a result of these heat bulbs staying on and melting away the electrical wiring.

This is an exact replacement part for my 28 year old vent/heat/light unit. Looks good and easy installation. The old cover was cooked, yellow and brittle, from the operation of many hot lamps over the years. It is a new looking unit now.

Just what I wanted! My condo is 18 years old- so couldnt find these in Home Depot!

These grill covers perfectly replaced our original ones which had yellowed over the years.

While the one I was replacing looked exactly like this one, it was a little smaller than this one (it was 10.5 x 10.5). It turned out that it wasnt a problem at all, because this one fit perfectly.

It is the right size for my Red heating lamp.

This heat grille melted after a years use!
