Please Note: You dont have to buy l-lysine powder marketed specifically for cats, which is usually more expensive. You can use this l-lysine powder for your cats as well as yourself. L-Lysine taken orally is also helpful in reducing the severity and duration of cold sores.

If you have to take large amounts of lysine this is the best way to get it in. No more trying to swallow bunches of big pills. It doesn’t have much of a taste so that always a plus in my book.

It had a bad taste and odor, gritty nature and did not dissolve well in water. Overall just a poor misleading product description.

This purchase is fantastic. We use it for our animals as we are rescue facility and give each of our animals whatever the doctor prescribes in L-lysine. However we all use it for ourselves everyday keep our immune system up especially when working with a large variety of animals. I usually put it in with my beet juice drink which is a bit too sweet for me and this brings it down it. They pair well as the L-lysine has alkaline chalk flavor. Highly suggest you put it in something where you wont taste the L-lysine hot or cold. Dissolve easily.

I read everything on a few lysine products. And clicked the best value....... but neglected to see it was a powder sooo.. not what I expected. Works great does it’s job not sure if better yet or not, but as good as a pull form. Takes in water/ juice/ soda is bitter. Small amount of liquid so more so ya if in an 8 oz glass. I take it with less than 1/8th C so I cannot complain since it could be better than if in a larger amount of liquid. I just mix take and go on. So far. I would recommend this powder.
