Greater than one weekIts very big and looks like it will hold a ton of syringes, thats good. The lid is fairly flimsy, though, thats good and bad. When you get this giant red container youll notice that the lid is flimsy and that it isnt closed all the way. If you have any OCD at all thats going to bug you and youll immediately want to close it so that it makes a satisfying click. There are few things in life that cant be made better by a nice healthy click, I always think. Well, it turns out that that isnt always true. If you close this lovely, giant, red container so that it makes a click you will find that youve screwed up because the lovely click, maybe its more a snap than a click, anyway, that is only supposed to happen when youve filled the container and are ready to dispose of it. The click/snap signifies the end of your relationship with this red box and is meant to give you closure, literally and figuratively. The click/snap means the end. However, because the lid is flimsy, if you do put the premature sound effect into play you can remove the lid completely, undo your relationship death blow, and carry on as though nothing happened. Im still struggling to accept the unclosed lid but we all have our crosses to bear, I suppose.

> 3 dayThis is huge! But its what I need. It will probably last me for years! I especially want to be able to close the top when my grandkids are over to keep them from getting into it and this will allow me to do so.

> 3 dayI like everything about this product for normal week to week use for disposal injection pens. It would not work well for traveling because I would not need that kind of size and would require something smaller.

Greater than one weekMy wife and I are both diabetic and a large container like this is ideal at home. My wife goes through at least 6 needles a day and I only have the one lancet. So a large container like this is great. We found that a large container like this is kind of awkward while traveling not to mention that the bright red color advertises NEEDLES. Thats why I rated it a 3 for traveling. When we travel, we use the smaller containers that are easier to pack and hide in a suitcase. The hard plastic shell keeps the lancets from poking through and it takes a long time to fill it up (several months) so in the long run, it pays for itself.
