Use: MTN Biking Experience level: Advanced The increased diameter of these grips was just what I needed to spread pressure out on my hands to stop the soreness and numbness I was getting with my thinner ODI grips. The grip and feel were excellent. Nothing to distract you on really technical sections of trail. No slipping. If you are having problems with sore and/or numb hands or just like a chunkier grip and need something for high performance MTB riding, give these a try; They should improve your riding experience.

These grips are the best! I love these things. I always ride with gloves so this review is based on that, Ive never tried these without gloves. They have thick soft grip material that really dampens the impacts and vibrations on your hands. The pattern and how thick they are makes them extremely easy to hold onto and really get a good purchase on them. I have small hands and you would think that I would like thin grips like their ODI Elites but I cant stand those. These grips give you something to hold onto and the thick soft compound really is perfect. The endcaps are not cheap rubber endcaps but a plastic insert that clips into the lockring and is much safer than something rubber. Last thing you want it to be corked like an apple if you crash. They have dual lock-on rings that really secure the grips to your bars and give you some peace of mind. The grips are my fav for using gloves. I dont use thick gloves though, I use just standard no gell or anything crazy mtb gloves. The seller I bought the gloves from sadly shorted me a lock ring and end cap but luckily a fellow rider hooked me up with an old pair to replace the missing pieces because the seller wanted me to send them back and buy them again. Since that is no fault of the product Im not taking and stars off for that on a product review.

A MTB buddy of mine turned me onto to these grips. Ive taken a few long rides on these and I really like them. They have a larger diameter than my previous grips, reducing fatigue and numbness and my hand stays in position, meaning they dont slide outwards, while riding in any terrain. I highly recommend them, especially for the price! Just a quick note. If you order them and dont see the set screws, look inside the grip.

There were on my wish list for a long time since I didnt really need new grips. Going into the summer, I wanted to freshen up a bike a bit, and so these make it on there. If youve changed grips on bikes before, well these are nothing like that. For these, the end pieces just tighten down on the grip section. They are very easy and quick to install with only a small hex wrench. Im pretty sure taking the old foam grips off and cleaning the area took longer that installing these. The grips are somewhat soft, and have lots of grip. Ive ridden many miles with them with no gloves and they will make your hands a bit red if you ride for house with a death grip on them, but nothing too bad really.

Great grips, easy install, I really like the double lock ons. They stay put and offer all the grip and comfort I needed.

These grips just arrived today and I already love them after a short test ride. They are VERY easy to install taking all of about 10 minutes. Before installing on your handlebars, place the two locking collars on each grip with a few whacks with the palm of your hand. There are cutouts on each ring which fit into like cutouts in each rubber grip. When thats done, just pop on the end cap. Finally, slide the assembly on your handlebar and tighten down the two allen screws on each side. If youre a perfectionist, you can align the Odi logo on the end cap horizontally before screwing down the outboard screw. Thats it! Youre done! The grips fit the hand well and feel somewhat tacky. The rubber doesnt appear to be super hard so they should absorb most road or trail shock. I highly recommend these grips because not only do they look sharp, they work well and should last a very long time.

I guess its not really their fault but dont say they fit all yamahas jetskis if they arent really universal. The other side kinda fits but youd have to cut it to make it work. Not worth the headache. Sucks because the grips are nice just wish they had better compatability. Also their caps should have holes for them so you can screw them in

These grips are outstanding! I bought my first pair back in 2012. I ride my bike for commuting to/from work and extensively in the summer and fall. I log several thousand miles a year and these grips worked great for 9 years. Just recently the grips started to turn gummy so I ordered my second set. Highly recommended!
