An upgrade old Grip Shifters on my mountain bike to trigger shifters required new grips. A search for something that could be easily removed when I get a new handle bar later turned up this product. There seems to be universal praise for the ODI Rogue and Yeti on the mountain bike forums. After going back and forth between the two, I selected the Rogue only because its a bit smaller diameter. Im very happy with the choice. These are very grippy for riding bare handed or with gloves. The cushy comfort is amazing. There is not much in the way of installation instructions on the package. you will want to assemble the clamping rings to the grip BEFORE putting it on the bike. Line up the ring with the grip and try to get the tabs to snap in at the same time (youll see what I mean if youre holding them). Putting the end cap on is easy if you spread the clamp just a little with a flat bladed screwdriver in the gap to open the diameter and snap it in. Just be careful not to scratch the aluminum with the blade tip. Then put the screws in hole, slide it in place and tighten in down.

Ive been using these they are comfortable, gel like feeling but without the gel. I enjoy it. One thing I dislike from this is the bolts, I wish they came with better bolts that dont strip. I looked away for one sec the L wrench was off angle and messed up the inside of the bolt so when I when to thighten it completely stripped. Kinda disappointing. Other than that great grips.

These grips are outstanding! I bought my first pair back in 2012. I ride my bike for commuting to/from work and extensively in the summer and fall. I log several thousand miles a year and these grips worked great for 9 years. Just recently the grips started to turn gummy so I ordered my second set. Highly recommended!

I bought these grips for my fiancée, who broke her hand awhile back and needed a bit of a softer, larger grip. The grip is a bit larger than some of the thin ones, like stock Bontragers or ODI Ruffians, but thinner than Oury grips. The rubber is also a bit tacky (but not sticky), so it grips really securely and nicely to the hand, but the grip is not mushy. Lock-On grips are the only way to go on for serious mountain biking, as they dont twist around or work their way off the bars. This bonus pack comes with two grips, two sets of clamps (four clamps), two sets of screws (four screws, hidden in one of the grips), and two bar plugs that get popped into the outside clamp and locked on, not like the shoddy ones that insert into the bar tube. The clamps come loose and are a bit hard to get on the grip itself; I used a soft mallet and gently tapped them on one at a time, with the grip vertical on a soft mat. The clamps are the same for the inside and outside of the grip. Mount the clamps onto the grips first, then put a cap on one side of each, and then slide them onto the bars. Position the grips and then screw the clamp down, taking care not to over-torque the screws. The clamping action is pretty strong, and you shouldnt need to torque down hard to make them tight enough not to slip. ODI grips are made in the USA. My fiancée and I ride cross country and enduro/all mountain. We have Titus Xs. I also bought the ODI Ruffians, a thinner grip, for my bike and love them.

Feels better than my stock grips. Easy to install. Fits perfect on my hyperscooter. Will buy again!

Use: MTN Biking Experience level: Advanced The increased diameter of these grips was just what I needed to spread pressure out on my hands to stop the soreness and numbness I was getting with my thinner ODI grips. The grip and feel were excellent. Nothing to distract you on really technical sections of trail. No slipping. If you are having problems with sore and/or numb hands or just like a chunkier grip and need something for high performance MTB riding, give these a try; They should improve your riding experience.

This is replacement for oem grips on my Norco Truax 1 freeride mt bike. I have actually seen Rogues on mt bikes of pro/competition mt bike riders so I knew they are great grips. The Rogue is slightly thicker than my oem grips (made by ODI) or the ODI Ruffian. I thought Rogues would be a little softer on the hands for bumpy downhill trails w rocky drops, and roots, and jumps. They are softer. But on the first rides with them the extra thickness felt like a hand full and the slight extra softness took a bit to get used to. This would probably not be noticed on a typical xc mt bike trail. My hand size is mens Large, and wear TLD gloves. I think theyre very good grips and I will keep them on. I can highly recommend, especially you are mostly on xc trails. I am curious though and want to try the Ruffians, which think will feel a little firmer thus more responsive for downhill. These are the slightest of personal preferences and each rider needs to find.his/her own.

Soft raised pads provide excellent shock absorption. TEXTURED surface pattern helps keep you in control. Patented lock-on design for easy installation. Includes snap caps end plugs
