Greater than one weekThis did not work. I plugged it in to the phone and it did not charge. So I bought another charger and it worked just fine. On the bright side of that it could have possibly been because I was using a Japanese HTC cellphone and the charger may not have been compatible with it.

> 3 dayThe price is outstanding. It works fine both charging and as a data cable. For some reason, it works as a trickle charger instead of a rapid charger like the one that came with my HTC Inspire. The specs listed on it, at a casual glance, seem to be indentical. It isnt a deal-breaker by any means...it is $5 as opposed to $30 at the AT&T store.

> 3 dayDO NOT BUY!!!!!!!This was complete JUNK! Firstly, the HTC charging plug was USED!!! It has scratches all over it from being used! The CORD has the rubber coming off at the connection and has holes in it. It also has gouges in it from where it was used and returned as well!!! They are RESELLING the ones that have been RETURNED!!! DO NOT BUY!! I can see the silver wiring underneath the rubber! and even when I had it plugged, before I realized it was a fire hazard, it was NOT charging! PLEASE DO NOT BUY, I thought I would be an exception and maybe people just got a bad plug, NOPE, THEY RESELL THE USED DEFECTIVE ONES!!!

> 3 dayI only bought this cord as a backup for when I am out. I did use it at home just to test out the charging time which is pretty much the same as the original one, 4 hours or less. I was not pleased at the look of the charger. Its scratched up (used) and the cord is shorter. I had to wipe it down good before using. Thats the reason for the 2 stars. I do see that some have better experiences as far as in getting the OEM charger. Mine was sold from AAC Stop. I dont want to go through the hassle of returning the charger, so Ill just keep it around and hope that nothing goes wrong with it or my phone (Evo 3D). It only cost me $4.80 with free shipping, so the price isnt bad.

> 3 dayThis is a great usb charging adapter. Not just for the HTC but for any phone that takes a usb adapter for charging. I use it to charge my 2000mah and 8000mah power banks too. Anything that needs a high power, 1 amp charger this is great for. The only thing Ive found that wont accept it for charging purposes is my wifes blackberry. Even using an official blackberry usb charging cord the phone wouldnt recognize it. The usb cord that comes with the adapter is worth twice what the whole package costs. Its substantial and sufficiently long that its pretty useful. Cant beat this combo.

Greater than one weekThe charger came in a plastic sleeve and was supposed to be new but there were obvious skuff marks/scratches all over it so im pretty sure it is used but was just refurbished. Other then that it works fine and was a snag at $4 but if youre looking for something that is actually new I would go somewhere else.

> 3 dayI bought 3 of these and they have all worked fine. I took one to work and have the others along with the ones that came with our phones placed throughout the house. At this point I cant tell which ones came with the phones, and which were aftermarket. This is a product worth buying.

> 3 day2/06/12 Update to my original 1-Star Review Returned the original, non-functional charger and received a quick refund. Ordered a new charger from a different vendor CCMAccessories...and had a totally different experience. Charger arrived looking great (as the first one did) and upon plugging it into my phone and the wall outlet it began charging immediately. Ive been using this for several weeks now with no problems. I dont know if the original seller just got ahold of a bad unit (see original review below), or if theyre selling known junk as the other reviews out there suggest. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Wow, I wish I could give a product less than one star. Ordered this HTC travel charger from a third party seller Item44Less and it just plain doesnt 44work. Tried charging an EVO 4G as well as an EVO 3D, and neither will actually complete a charge. The red charge indicators light up, but the phones just go right on discharging as usual. Ill be returning this ASAP, and trying one from a different seller. Maybe one of them can give me a reason to modify my rating.

> 3 dayOrdered this for my Droid Incredible as a spare charger, couldnt beat the price but as the saying goes you get what you pay for this did not seem new, scratches on it. When I tried to charge my phone with the USB port it wouldnt work my phone kept blinking from one screen to another would not stop so then I tried the wall outlet left it charging forever didnt do anything. This is a peice of junk do not buy, I should have looked at the reviews before purchasing bad on my part. I do acknowledge Amazon is great with returns was able to print out UPS return label and ship back now just waiting for them to credit my account. Glad I have my original charger which works great!

> 3 dayAs Im sure youre aware, there are a ridiculous amount of knockoffs out there for this travel charger. After getting 2 fake ones (didnt know it when I ordered them) I tried the seller Crescent Tradings. They are fulfilled by Amazon so you can use your Prime shipping if you have it. First one arrived and it is absolutely 100% the original HTC charger and USB cord. Its identical to the one that came with my phone. Purchased two more and they as well are absolutely authentic. Its a bit more money than eBay etc ($12) but worth it if you ask me to get ones that are REAL. Otherwise you risk damaging your phones charging point rendering it useless.
