I ordered two of these in late September for my HTC Droid Incredible. They arrived promptly and looked legitimate. They will charge your phone, but the rate is erratic. The process may take overnight to charge from < 20 %, whereas a genuine adapter will take no more than 3 hours. You will also notice that the touch screen becomes very unresponsive during the charge. The counterfeits are virtually indistinguishable from the genuine, but there are some minor differences in the markings on the back side. If you do a search on the keywords HTC counterfeit charger, you will find one account where someone analyzed the output of the counterfeit and found it did not comply with specification.

I bought two of these at two separate times from two different sellers two years ago to use with my HTC Droid Incrdedible. One worked great and I still use it today with another phone. The other did not and often caused my phone to inexplicably freeze or power off. Now I dont remember which was which...maybe this was the good one? Suffice to say, its a crapshoot.

I purchased 4 of these, and the review applies to all of them. The adapters are OEM and functional, but scuffed like they were all dropped or rubbed together. The cables are Motorola micro-USB-to-USB and functional, but be warned: they did not pull out of my HTC Sensation 4G easily. The teeth of the micro-USB head catches the inside of the phones port, and pulling out the cable feels like youre sort of tearing it out unless you bend it right and remove it. This is unlike an HTC OEM cable, which fits snugly and removes easily. Two friends have the same phone and accessories and corroborate this observation.

Adapter looked like my OEM adapter, but slightly used. USB cable felt cheap, but at least it came with one. I got mine from AudioHaus,LLC. Based on the reviews, some people get good ones and some dont. I did not. I interchanged cables with my OEM charger and the results were that the one I ordered did not charge my phone at all. I could not use my phone while it was plugged in either. The phone would show a charge symbol, but thats it. I guess you have to choose your sellers carefully and be a gambling man on this item because the last one I ordered off amazon did work. Good luck to the rest of you.

The cable for my phone charger broke. I tried using other chargers, and my phone would charge very slowly and tell me to use the original charger cable. So I ordered this htc charger for my HTC phone thinking it would work. It did for the first few days, but then suddenly back to the same problem. Even though this charger is identical to my original charger, my phone charges very slowly and tells me to use the original cable. I know this is not due to the charger being poor quality, however it is stressful to think I may need to buy a whole new phone because I dont have the original charger and even and identical one doesnt work.

UPDATE #2: I bought another 2 of these....even though fulfilled by Amazon, it didnt come with the free extras. I can see this happening if it came straight from the seller, but come on AMAZON wheres the extra stuff???????? UPDATE #1: I wasnt going to complain but now that I see its happening to everyone else also.....All I got was the charger & data cable, it was OEM & works great thats why I have bought this same item 3 times from this seller. All 3 delivered without the extras the seller says they would include. I was getting ready to order 2 more when I saw everybodys more recent reviews. Original Post: Wow! Im so glad this charger is being sold. It is 100% what came with my HD7 & that makes me VERY happy. Not much else to say other than its new, nice & exactly what I expected. Which is why I bought another one :-)

I used the charger for about a week before I upgraded my phone. Very pleased with it when I used it, kept it in my locker at work so Id have a charger at home and work. Art Keaten

This product worked great at first for my HTC Arrive. It would charge it via wall charger or PC USB but after about 2 months, the cord started working only intermittentl. Then the cord would only loosly connect to my phone and would easily fall out if you touched it. After a while it stopped working altogether.

The charger came in a plastic sleeve and was supposed to be new but there were obvious skuff marks/scratches all over it so im pretty sure it is used but was just refurbished. Other then that it works fine and was a snag at $4 but if youre looking for something that is actually new I would go somewhere else.

When I lost my charger, I went to Radio Shack to get a new one. The charger I purchased there didnt charge the phone. I returned it, and purchased another charger at Sprint. That charger didnt work either. Then I looked at the tag on the Sprint charger -- it said this is not a data cord. I tried the charger for my Kindle (since it is a data cord) and voila! - my phone charged. I found this charger/data cord on Amazon and voila it worked! It worked so well, I purchased a second one.
