> 3 dayIt’s made our house cleaner, getting under beds, and making our lives easier. Love it. It’s fun, making us smile and laugh from time to time. It has a mind of its own, so sometimes I have to carry it to the spot it missed. It doesn’t go back and forth, but kind of all around in different directions, thus missing some spots. But if you let it run for half an hour to an hour, it gets most of it, and the container gets full with gunk. Nevertheless, it is one of the best things I’ve ever bought for cleaning house. It’s affordable. Also, it’s made it so much easier on my bad back. I’m intending to buy this for my two sisters and my minister within the next few months.

> 3 dayMy first robot vacuum that I bought because it came recommended on a deals blog. It picks up dust every single day. I have it programmed to run 5 days a week when I go to work. Im pretty impressed with the amount of dust it picks up each day! The machine is sturdy, and even came out unscathed after a half-story fall. But it is dumb. Really dumb. It uses mostly random patterns with some logic on what direction to focus on, and does a decent job of trying to get unstuck. It will even shut off the vacuum suction if it becomes stuck or theres a clog. I believe it uses IR to find its way back to base, but it uses the random logic to find that signal once the useful battery life for suction has ended. The app also only notifies me rarely when it gets stuck. And the setup isnt intuitive either as it relies upon a mashup of 3rd party unknown home automation apps. It gets stuck under my bed frame a lot, where it has decorative drops in the wood. It also gets tangled a lot on any type of loose clothing or cords and has even ripped up some long strands in my older looped carpet. The works with Google is a complete flop and I disabled it. It has been turning on at random times more and more lately, which is very annoying. I think the run IR signal is similar to something in my house, maybe the thermostat. I noticed that sometimes when I mark me home on my Nest app or adjust the thermostat, it will start to run right away. I would defer to purchasing a smarter-sensing robot vacuum. One that can plot a room better so that it doesnt take 15 minutes to find home, avoids clothing and maybe cords better, and doesnt get stuck in obvious trouble spots.

> 3 dayit does a good job of daily cleaning however isn’t as smart as it’s led on to be. the product claims to be able to map out your house after a few cleanings and after that be able to find its way back to the charging station on its own- which is just so loud and wrong. when this thing hits 15% prepare to be annoyed. i got this around the new year and i’m well into february, using it daily and this girl has never not needed help getting back to the charging station. ima stick beside her since i’m outside the return time but if you’re super busy and don’t have time to constantly assist the vacuum definitely go with something else, probably name brand. i don’t mind it bc i plan on moving into a two story home and will be buying the one i actually will love soon and this one can go on the floor of the house that i care least about. as i’m typing this the vacuum is trying to find its way to the charging station, going into my bedroom which is on the opposite side of the living room- where the charging station is …

> 3 day4 stars because the app does not work. I couldn’t get the thing to connect to wifi for the life of me. But once I discovered I can just let this little guy run aimlessly without the app, I don’t even care! I have a golden retriever and a dirt backyard. I clean our floors all the time but saw this thing on major sale & figured why not. I’m amazed! In one run it got all this. (See photo) It navigates through tight spots and makes it ways under all furniture. If you’re a dog owner, this thing is 100% worth it. No more giant dust bunnies floating around.

> 3 dayI cant figure out how to get this vacuum to stay on track as it has a mind of its own. It seems to be patterned oriented and wont let you redirect it easily to a high traffic area. It will continually go over and over the same area. Its OK. It does have an easy to empty dirt bin and easy to clean filter.

> 3 dayHonestly its easy to quickly clean a tiny apartment in your 20s. But you get middle aged and youre back starts hurting and youre tired from work and you dont have a tiny apartment anymore and suddenly sweeping is just about the last thing you want to do. So Id been thinking about getting a robot vacuum anyway when I saw this one on a flash sale. I figure its super affordable now and has good ratings so I may as well take the plunge. Man am I glad I did. Since getting it Ive saved hours of time to do other things. It navigates my weirdly shaped house with ease, only ever having trouble with this strange little recessed area that the previous owners probably built for a display hutch or something. Since its smaller the robot keeps bumping into all the walls and has some trouble getting out. However it eventually makes it out so not the worse thing. Pet hair. I have 2 pets that shed more than anything Ive ever seen I swear! Probably part of the reason why my back hurts trying to clean it all. Anyway Gobot, as my kids call it, gathers up the pat hair with ease so the most stressful part of having Gobot is having to empty the dust bin daily. That is something I can definitely do! Overall one of the best purchases Ive ever made.

> 3 dayThe vac is doing a pretty good job picking up dirt and maneuvering around our house. I am scoring it as high as I am because we have a complicated layout with several rugs on top of laminate flooring and a lot of furniture. It has only gotten stuck one time under the corner of our refrigerator. I am really impressed with that. What is it not good at? We cannot get it connected to our wifi... We have a fast band and a slow band and it wont connect to either one. That is frustrating, and one of the main reasons that we purchased this vac was to train it and control it with our phones. Maybe there will be a software upgrade or some better explanation but right now we cannot connect it to wifi and are not giving it 5 stars for that reason.

> 3 dayI’ve had this since for about 8 months and I can’t imagine life without it. I have a husky German shepherd mix who wafts little puffs of fluff into the air as she walks. Anyone with a plush coated pup knows the struggle of keeping a floor free of pet hair. No matter when you last vacuumed, there will be more hair. I never expect it to do the job of a vacuum. It’s a sweeper. All carpets and nooks and crannies still need a real vacuum when it’s finished sweeping. That’s okay. We call it Marvin. The good: I bought Marvin for under 100 expecting it would be cheaply made and not as effective as the Shark I used to have. I was wrong. Marvin is my best friend. I am so impressed with it! It makes vacuuming a once per day job instead of an ongoing struggle. I am constantly surprised how much hair Marvin gets and how great my hard floors look. It came with replacements for each sweeping arm and the filter. Emptying it is simple, and cleaning the arms is as easy as pulling them off, removing whatever is caught, and snapping them back on. It has an optional app if you want to program the times it should run and a remote if you’d rather tell it to start without needing the app. Marvin has battery life is enough to thoroughly make its way through my living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway before needing to go home and recharge, which is perfect for us in our apartment where the rest of the rooms are carpeted and need a real vacuum. We love Marvin. The bad: Marvin is… stupid. We joke that it is time to play the lottery when Marvin actually finds its charging base and no one has intervened. Marvin also has no advanced AI learning like the expensive floor robots do. You will not be able to tell it *not* to go somewhere so if you have an area with cords it might eat, or an area it can get stuck… yeah, it’s going to unless you make a barricade it can’t get through. The app is only to program the times it turns on and the pattern of sweeping it does, not to program its path. When it does get stuck, it is obnoxiously loud trying to free itself before it gives up and sadly beeps for assistance. You’ll know it needs help before it does. For as inexpensive as it is, I’d recommend it to anyone who would like a sweeper bot but, like me, the 300-700 bots are way out of their price range. Marvin does a really good job and makes my life so much easier that I forgive its shortcomings without hesitation.
