Ive used these small Olfa cutters for years. This version, with the magnet is my favorite. I keep them all over the house, but theyre especially effective in opening packaging in the kitchen, and in opening boxes that UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex drop at my door.

My friends received this knife for Christmas. I immediately needed one. They come in a two pack so I have one magnetically attached to my fridge and one in another room. So handy to open my Amazon packages, which is why I bought them!

Im still using the one my son bought me in 1983; still perfectly sharp, even after two moves + everyday use. I bought some more (these), tho, just in case I was stupid enough to lose the one I have. (The new ones are just as good!). Important: the ones that are round-ish shape do NOT have the little bump that keeps the blade extended. Dont buy this shape, tho its the same maker. You have to keep the blade out by hand while you cut. THIS VERSION IS NOT LIKE THAT. There is a little nub that catches the blade and keeps it extended. You will not be sorry. Order 2 pks; youll like find that someone in your family has lifted yours (common problem with kids heading to college bcs they already know theyre good but wont have access to yours!). Caveat: Magnetized to stick on refrig, filing cabinet/etc. This is not an featureI care about. I always store sharp things with care, not someplace where a small, short person could have access. Ive had Olfa touch knives in the past but couldnt find a new one like this in any of the hardware stores I patronize. I found these on Amazon and they are a newer model of the ones I used to have. I would recommend getting the kind where the blade extends with positive stops, rather than the one where the blade retracts the moment you (accidentally) let go of the slider. Another feature of this newer one is that it has a magnet so you can stick it on your refrigerator, tool chest, or file cabinet where it will be handy. I just keep mine in my pocket all the time where it is barely noticeable but there whenever I need to open parcels. Very sharp blade; highly recommended.

These little knives are wonderful. They open all my amazon packages so easily and are super sharp. I’m an Olfa person anyway since I quilt. Worth the money indeed!

This little cutter is very sharp, I have it in my purse to cut magazine articles or cut those annoying plastic fasteners off sock bundles. Also saves my nails while opening boxes. So many uses!

Nice and sharp. Fits easily in my hand. I mostly use to open boxes. They even cut through Chewy’s super thick boxes. If you drop them, they do come apart, but I’ve been able to put them back together with ease. I find them super handy and have them all over the house.

I bought these as stocking stuffers for family and for myself, after realizing I still have a little Olfa touch knife that I got in Japan 25 years ago and still use it nearly every day. My adult children and wife love them, and its a great product. Of course I ended up giving my new one away to a coworker who was eyeing it...time to order more.
