this thing is awesome! little pricy, but worth it when you see the build quality. i have two 16 Macbook Pros (one personal, one for work) i used to just stack one on top of the other, but that took up a lot of room on my desk and theyd get pretty warm (intel, lol). seems like they run cooler in this vertical configuration and it saves so much room. i have to take my work laptop out often when i leave the house and this makes it painless. never feels like theyll fall over because its nicely weighted and the rubber lining protects the laptops. anyways it just plain looks cool.

Hi loved the product, the gap is perfect for my 13inch and 16inch mac books. The only complaint is that, the top part of the stand is not the same rubber material as it is in the inside part that holds macs. So, when you try to put your mac, you need to be careful or you will hit the steel/hard surface.
