> 3 dayOriginally, I had a laptop stand and a Mac mini stand in my cart. Then I found this. I was actually kinda thinking this was going to be one of those spring loaded things like a universal phone holder for your car. Upon opening the box I saw an Allen key. Things were looking up!

> 3 dayThe logo is rather ugly, itd be better if it were just plain black. Rating it 4 stars because I believe that its too expensive for what it is. If you can get this for $15-$20, Id say its worth it. Otherwise, too expensive. Its very sturdy and hugs nicely a macbook pro and an ipad pro.

> 3 dayI have a personal laptop, and two more for work, plus a tablet. After buying one of these to free up some desk space, I was happy enough that I bought another one.

Greater than one weekI bought this stand for my desk at work. I have a rather small desk surface and I hook my laptop up to two 22 monitors so between those, my phone and my keyboard when you added in the laptop I had no room left for files. I went through all the reviews and this overall seemed to fit my needs. It came quickly and was really well packaged. The item itself is perfect. Its heavy enough that I have no worries about it tipping over and I went from my laptop taking up 29 inches of space on my desk to 5 inches. It was easy to adjust the width to fit my laptop and portable drive and its easy to just grab my lap top and go when I want. Love the product.

Greater than one weekI am so lucky to have an Amazon liquidation center nearby--I get to try out all sorts of items for pennies on their original dollars. I didnt even know what this thing was--except that its SO heavy and SO sturdy, I had an idea for it that has nothing to do with laptops. I restore a particular little antique--fragile little hand-carvings that are in pieces. Rubber bands and tape are usually too aggressive so theyre not always useful. Adhesives actually have one chance to bond on a molecular level. You put on the glue, you go to brace it while it dries and BOING! In restoration, glue-ooze can make or break a good (invisible) job. I dont know if you can even make out what my picture shows. This is a very old little figure, probably carved in Germany or Italy in the 20s or 30s. I make little bottle stopper bases from machine-lathed wooden craft pieces--then I carefully attach the figure in a way that it remains original (can be taken off) so its antique properties are kept intact. The bases have to be permanently affixed in their configuration--but the fragile figures dont. The weight of this bracket is perfect to hold the base in the right position while it dries. The angel in the picture is just there for scale--no pressure will be exerted on him. I am probably going to take this bracket to a machine shop and have the slots on one side extended as far as they will go. My usual stopper base is a disk, a checker and a cork--just a hair too long to fit in either side of this heavyweight bracket. As is, one side will fit some bases (a disk, a ring and a cork), which is way closer to what I need than I ever thought Id find. Id always thought of inventing something like this for my hobby--but this one is almost spot-on. Yay--thank you!
