Thoroughly enjoyed this little animated movie. The kids enjoyed it as well. Kinda like some lord of the rings type of quest. Magic and mythical beasts throughout the show made it very hard to not like. If you like magic, spells, dragons etc you will like this.

Tried to have my kid watch this and there is some really disturbing scenes... this should not be watched by kids younger than 9 or older even... I wish I could get a refund on this cause I tried twice to watch it since my daughter wanted to and the first time she started crying and the next day she wanted to watch it again and she started crying during the fire scene.

Pixar nailed it again, a great movie complete with epic adventure and emotion.

This film deserved better than what it got. Its not my favorite Pixar movie, but that does not detract from my love of the film.

Onward capitalizes on the Fantasy themed entertainment with elves and trolls and magic as everyone is doing lately, but I love it. The movie is really great. Pixar never makes anything bad, so you should imagine this movie being very good. Very enjoyable in many ways.

So glad that we purchased this!!! We loved this movie so much. My 19 year old daughter and I watched it 2 days in a row and got tears both times. Happy tears!!! The movie has it all and it was well worth the early purchase!!! Very pleased!

Helped my family bring the movie theatre experience home.

The story line was well presented, and it wasnt even predictable, which is hard to find nowadays. The family relationships and learning who you really are really struck home. My only gripe would be that the ending concerning the father could have easily happened another way, though I understand why the makers of the film didnt take that route...
