Heartwarming fun! I was in the theatre taking down DnD notes while watching the movie since I was trying to come up with a semi-modern DnD setting.

Such a cute movie! Great story and I loved the relationship between the brothers and the message in the end. Loss of a loved one is hard but this was very bittersweet movie.

I bought this to watch because we couldnt see it in the theater with all the pandemic stuff going on. I didnt have any strong expectations but I really liked this story. I enjoyed the magical aspect and the lessons in it were particularly powerful. I dont particularly like movies that make me cry - I tend to avoid them - and if Id known this would do that I probably wouldve avoided it - but it was very much worth it - I will watch it again and tell others to watch it too.

Overall this was a good movie. Some cute and funny moments with a little sad. It all works out in the end.

Way too much time setting up the main character as the inevitable lonely high-school misfit. Some good character ideas but not enough screen time to develop them. No allies picked up along the way- isnt that standard for a quest? Unfortunate plot shortcuts. Ending denies the main character that which he has been seeking all along. Excellent CGI, notice the translucent skin at the tips of the ears- thats some serious coding. Maybe my expectations have been set high by previous Pixar films.

I actually did not purchase this movie. I believe someone outside of my home purchased this movie on a device i use to own. I have since deregistered all old devices that arent currently connected to my wifi.

Watched this when the quarantine for COVID-19 first started - its cute, has a good message and was highly entertaining from ages 3 to 60!

Loved this movie. It is definitely in my Top 5 Disney/Pixar movies. People here are complaining about the ending but I thought the ending was perfect. Without giving too much away, I just want to say that loving someone means sometimes you have to sacrifice your needs for that person. Furthermore, a true hero sacrifices themselves for those that they love and the end of the movie reflects those principles. This is a beautiful story about the relationship between two brothers. I have also seen a few people upset about the mention of a gay couple in this movie which I think is ridiculous. That is precisely what it is too, a mention. The movie doesnt show anything and it is a line that last maybe 5 seconds. If you want to know what it is, I have included that minor spoiler below. To all those that are upset by this, you need to get a grip on reality. This is the new normal and the majority of the global population is supportive. However, if you dont want to support Disney because of this, that is fine. You are free to support what you want with your money, however, dont delude yourselves if you think that is going to effect them at all, when the majority will still buy their movies.

An interesting concept and I would definitely watch if they made more movies either continuing on this story or other stories in the same world.

My 5 year old daughter really loves this movie. I agree with her. It has a wonderful message.
