Greater than one weekI got this to cover my wifi extender. It covers it, protects it from the elements and I am still able to extend the wifi to wear I need it. I am glad that this worked out.

Greater than one weekThis is a great shield for your outdoor camera. It’s just as advertised, and does what it’s supposed to. It is made from thick, heavy-duty material, and comes with the screws and mollies needed to hang it wherever necessary. But what I appreciate most about this outdoor camera cover is that there is a little gasket on the side that goes up against the wall to create a nice seal. Also, the inside of the shield is black, which seems to help knock down the glare.

> 3 daySeveral of my security cameras are mounted on a short tower in my backyard. With seemingly annual hail damage and +100F hot summer days, most inexpensive wifi PTZ or bullet-type cameras dont stand a chance. If you cant place your camera(s) under a soffit or porch, a sun-rain shield like this one is strongly recommended - even if the manufacturer doesnt state so. What I like about this shield: + It appears solidly constructed, made from a durable coated ABS material + Has a rubber embedded gasket on the back mounting flange to the keep elements out + Size is suitable to accommodate most bullet or PTZ cameras + Has a white outer shell for sun protection; black underside to help prevent reflection + The mounting hardware is included, and its simple to install Great product and price!

> 3 dayThis sun/rain cover shield is great. Protects your camera from sun glare and rain drops so you can have a crystal clear picture of what you need to see. Easy to install and very useful!

> 3 dayI was a little concerned that this is just made of plastic, but it is quite thick while being lightweight as well. Very easy to install on my wood siding home. Youll need a bit more time to install on stucco, concrete, or metal. This cheap investment is protecting my one fully exposed and very expensive security camera. Well worth it. Extra benefit. It helps keep the rain off the camera lens for a better view in inclement weather.

> 3 dayShould work out well. With all the rain and wind we get in the Northwest, I wanted a little more protection from the elements. The cover is made of plastic and while not super thin, you should be careful not to over torque the screws to avoid cracking it. The mounting plate on the rear of the cover does have a gasket that should also help repel water. The cover also came with mounting screws. I didnt like the white so I decided to give it a quick shot of black paint. As far as the price point, probably worth the money to protect your investment!

> 3 dayI am happy with this Universal Security Camera Sun Rain Cover Shield by OOSSXX except for one thing. I wanted a black cover but this one only came in white. So, I proceeded to paint the white shield with black spray paint! It was easily accomplished and now fades into the buildings dark trim. It doesnt call attention to itself. I am much happier with it and I do recommend it to protect your cameras!!

> 3 dayThis is a roomy weather shield that will protect anything from UV, rain, snow, hail, or anything else flying around. I use it to shield a “waterproof” L5-30R generator outlet, even though the outlet is stated to be waterproof. It readily mounts to any surface, (four screw points) against which its rubber gasket seals. It is made of a sturdy plastic but, in my case, it is not likely to be subject to abuse. For me, an inexpensive shield that adds to my peace of mind.

> 3 dayThese are large but they do feel a bit sturdy. I was not expecting to size to be as large as it is. That being said, I do like that my camera is now protected from the glare of the sim and the water droplets from the rain. I know that my outdoor cameras should be waterproof but that does not mean that they rain does not make the camera lens dirty and blurry. These covers are necessary and I am very glad that I got them. Now whenever I go on vacation, I can get clear pictures and video from my camera because they are now well protected from the elements.
