Covers your camera, top and sides. But, it could be a bit deeper. Larger cameras wont be covered. It is made from heavy plastic and mounting surface is padded.

Should work out well. With all the rain and wind we get in the Northwest, I wanted a little more protection from the elements. The cover is made of plastic and while not super thin, you should be careful not to over torque the screws to avoid cracking it. The mounting plate on the rear of the cover does have a gasket that should also help repel water. The cover also came with mounting screws. I didnt like the white so I decided to give it a quick shot of black paint. As far as the price point, probably worth the money to protect your investment!

This is a great shield for your outdoor camera. It’s just as advertised, and does what it’s supposed to. It is made from thick, heavy-duty material, and comes with the screws and mollies needed to hang it wherever necessary. But what I appreciate most about this outdoor camera cover is that there is a little gasket on the side that goes up against the wall to create a nice seal. Also, the inside of the shield is black, which seems to help knock down the glare.

This little roof for your security camera does more than you think! Whenever it rains or snows, theres a high chance that it could damage your security camera. The housing is built with high quality plastic, very thick and sturdy. This product is simple to install, and doesn’t look too bad. One of my favorite aspects of this product is how it helps with sun glare. Whenever its sunny outside, i find it a problem to stop the glare or the brightness, but this helps with all of it.

Several of my security cameras are mounted on a short tower in my backyard. With seemingly annual hail damage and +100F hot summer days, most inexpensive wifi PTZ or bullet-type cameras dont stand a chance. If you cant place your camera(s) under a soffit or porch, a sun-rain shield like this one is strongly recommended - even if the manufacturer doesnt state so. This has a good, solid feel, and is suitable size for the camera Im using it for (RING, as pictured). The installation itself will be very easy (4 screws, provided, with anchors), however, I have slanted, vinyl siding on my home, so Ill have to use some wood to take up the space, and get longer screws.

The build quality is good, as this is a sturdy and thick plastic shield. It has rain diverting shape to it and a gasket to seal against whatever one mounts this to. When considering this, measure your cameras. This does not protrude enough to cover some of the cameras I use, but works perfectly for ball style cameras that dont have significant length from mount to lens. As for the quality of this item, I cant find fault with it at all.

My use is for a rain shield for a Level 2 charger............perfect fit. I like the rounded corners, for safety and durability.

I got this for our outdoor camera system since we live in the South where it tends to rain a lot and its hard to see our cameras during such weather. My husband said installation was simple. My concern is the amount of heat we get almost year round, as of now the Dome works well but I will update if anything changes.

I got this to cover my wifi extender. It covers it, protects it from the elements and I am still able to extend the wifi to wear I need it. I am glad that this worked out.
