Greater than one weekAn e-mail reminds me to replace the brush every 3 months (I go a little further, as the replacements aren’t cheap.) However, this new iO Oral B electric toothbrush is great!

> 3 dayI do like the way this toothbrush head cleans my teeth. However I find that they get pretty noisy by the second month. That doesnt necessarily mean the bristles are worn but something in the head seems to have some wear. As soon as I place a new head on the head is back to smooth and quiet. If they were four dollars a piece I would replace them every month. If you use them as directed you are looking at $24 a year in toothbrush heads. I never used a manual tooth brush for three months, and I dont see myself using these for three months either. If you are looking for an electric toothbrush make sure you take the annual cost of toothbrush heads into account when comparing different manufacturers.

> 3 dayTheres no generic yet so youre forced to use the name brand. They are OK, will last a few months before they start to get nasty and bristles start to get pushed down and spread. They are bigger than most replacement heads if youve used other brands. Will take some getting used to. My gums usually bleed first few weeks once I change the heads to a new one until it gets broken in some.
