Works well with this vacuum..

Well, I suppose they work well in the newer vacuum versions. The hole on the bag connection is square. Therefore, your older handheld vac’s round pipe connection has to go inside square hole. That leaves enormous gaps around the square hole of the bag. It works fine until you need to replace the bag, where you find tons and tons of dirt in the trap that has escaped the bag. All handheld vacs are listed as compatible, both old and new models. Oreck claims their esteemed engineers promise the round peg into the square hole works well and as designed. So, the design is to make a mess when replacing the bags. Cool.

These Oreck bags are p much top of the line as far as bags for our weird little canister Orecks go. Amazon suggests I mention their “sheerness” and at first I was going to make a joke about it but tbqh they do feel remarkably silky for a vacuum bag, like they’re made of some kind of luxe fabric even though I know they’re made mostly of paper... right? Well now I’m really confused.

We have had our canister Oreck for 20 years and these are the best bags I ever bought. So simple to drop in, they fit tight and they are much heavier than the bags I have bought in the past. They feel like cloth more than paper and the package includes a new filter. Very happy and will buy again.

I dont think the Oreck sweeper can be beat, so was anxious to try these odor fighting bags. I think they work as well as can be expected. Was using them in an area of a garage apt. that isnt ventilated very well, so maybe was expecting a little too much out of them. The hypoallergenic claims are accurate - there seemed to be no sneezing or allergy problems after using the sweeper with these.

These are very easy to install and the pack came with one filter for the vacuum as well as the 12 bags. It was delivered very fast in a couple of days. Great buy for the money.
