I dont think the Oreck sweeper can be beat, so was anxious to try these odor fighting bags. I think they work as well as can be expected. Was using them in an area of a garage apt. that isnt ventilated very well, so maybe was expecting a little too much out of them. The hypoallergenic claims are accurate - there seemed to be no sneezing or allergy problems after using the sweeper with these.

Ive used both name brand and knock off bags, but I keep coming back to these. Nothing does a better job at picking up dust and animal hair and keeping it in the bag and out of my air. The room always smells better with these bags..even with hepa filters running in the house.

These are very easy to install and the pack came with one filter for the vacuum as well as the 12 bags. It was delivered very fast in a couple of days. Great buy for the money.

What can you say, it’s an Oreck bag for the Compact Canister vacuum. Easy to install and that’s about it. Whole design of the Compact Canister unit was not thought out well at all. Works great when you first put in the bag, and if you are sucking up small hard objects like spilt split peas or dry cat food. If you are using it to vacuum dust off lamp shades, fireplace mantles or dust bunnies under the front of a cabinet the bags clog up incredibly fast. You pull out the bag and it’s only 20% full but the suction has gone down by 60% or more. Bags should have been pleated like air filters to have a large surface area. Oreck company filed for bankruptcy in May 2022 and the Oreck family who sold the business back on 2003 tried to buy it back for much less than they sold it for. Oreck products were good but overpriced years ago, now parts are getting hard to find. Local Oreck store only had one replacement hose left and said they couldn’t order them any more.
