They worked out WONDERFUL. able to use my curlying iron as well did not blow a fuse. Works with cell phone, dvd player and Apples products.

Does not work well in Italy. I just stayed at 3 hotels in Italy and the 1st had 3 outlets this worked with, the 2nd had 1 it worked with, and the finally hotel (oddly the Hilton by the airport in Rome) has NONE!! I was literally only able to charge one device at a time through the usb outlet on the TV and the hotel had no adapters. From what I have read these are type E plugs and Italy primarily has sockets that accept type C plugs. Otherwise the seem like they will work perfectly in other Europen countries I have been previously.
