Original Matte Loose Mineral Foundation Broad Specrum SPF 15

I went a shade lighter than the shade I tried out first, and this was perfect. It does take some practice to get the full coverage down, sometimes I still use a little bit of my old foundation on any areas I want more coverage. My skin looks a lot healthier with this and Ive noticed fewer breakouts. Love it!

I should say that Ive used BareMinerals foundation that I buy from a well known cosmetics store for about 6 months. I found this on Amazon and was excited because I thought that I was saving money and a trip to the store, where I will inevitably overspend on unplanned purchases. Within 2 days of using this, I started to break out badly. When I apply it, I kept going back for more product, because I didnt notice any coverage or any of the usual mattifying properties that I normally see with BareMinerals when I first apply. When I examine it further, the color seems off as well as the texture and consistency. I have to wonder if this is even the genuine product. The packaging looks to be the same, although it did not arrive in a small box like it does when I buy if from the store. I hope that Ill be able to get my money back.

This is my go-to foundation, and Ive been using bareMinerals for over 10 years. Easy to apply (I use a kabuki brush to apply). Lasts all day for me. My skin is oily, and the MATTE helps control oil very well. It makes my skin feel soft and look flawless. My skin is also acne prone, and this foundation helps cover up scars easily. I do make sure to keep my kabuki brush clean, though. I wash it with soap and warm water every couple of weeks. This foundation is very easy to apply, just sift a bit of powder into the cap and swirl the kabuki brush into the powder and then buff your skin with the brush. I find that the more evenly I buff my skin with the brush and powder, the better it looks and feels.

Best product for makeup, I hate wearing foundation and other face coverings. It always feels too heavy but this product stays on all day and makes my skin look flawless

Since switching to contacts I have changed my make up remedy. I use a stick concealer now (cover girl) and I was using the cover girl sensitive skin pressed powder (green compact). The powder would fade as the day progressed, but using my stick concealer with bare minerals it lasts all day, there is great coverage and I look bright eyed even at 3 in the afternoon. I dont need to touch up at all. Even with having combination skin, my skin seems to have taken a liking to Bare Minerals. I would refer this product to a friend, definitely.

When I put my bareMinerals on it evens out the colors in my face. It doesnt look caked on as some do. Light enough to look natural.
