> 24 hourFirst deck. Got as a fortune teller Halloween prop, but the book that comes with it has such great information that it has inspired me to learn more about the cards. The cards are top notch quality.

> 24 hourThis is obviously a knockoff deck but it’s okay for beginners. The quality of the cards doesn’t feel as nice as pricier ones but it’ll do if you’re just looking to get familiar with tarot.

> 24 hourFirst the cons: The color scheme is icky... I was disappointed at first, but the deck grew on me since I got it last month. It all depends on how sensitive you are to color. The blues are too green, the purples are too pink, the pinks are too red, the grays are often too dark, there are entirely too many bright orange objects - etc. On some cards, the level of contrast is off. Its like the entire printing staff was drunk on the job and they forgot to do a color match. Now the pros: Its still recognizable as the original deck, and Ive found that its just as good for readings. It makes for an excellent extra deck. EDIT: At first I loved the card stock - its linen-like in texture, and the backs are nice, but it didnt hold up too well over the last few months. Its still a decent deck, and the cards are thick, but they get warped easily.

> 24 hourOverall I love this deck, the pictures are crisp and sharp, the backs are gorgeous (this is what drew me to these cards in the first place). I have a special bond with this deck as it was my first tarot deck and I wanted to go with a RWS style pack. I really connected with Pixies art but I just couldn’t stand the plaid back of the Rider Tarot deck so this was a perfect compromise. Pros: •no copyright on cards. •Pixie’s calligraphy. •sharp/crisp artwork. •sturdy cardstock with linen type finish. Cons: •coloration is incorrect or messy. (Ex. The Sun, boys hair is green, 5 of cups, lady is orange.) •booklet included is vague, get a tarot book! In conclusion, I’d easily recommend this deck to anyone looking to start tarot as it is a mostly faithful reproduction of the Rider Tarot deck but with a prettier back! Coloration issues don’t bother or distract me when doing readings whatsoever.
