I like many things about this product: the large assortment of different size cable lugs; the addition of already cut heat-shrink tubing; the design and quality of the lugs themselves; and the good value for the kit. I do a lot of DIY projects ranging from boat and vehicle upgrades and modifications to trailer wiring. For several of these projects i have had to go to the hardware store to buy individual lugs. This kit will work for me for years. In the past i purchased a cable lug crimper which you should have if you are installing these large wire/cable lugs.

These crimp on to 6 gauge cables. I did not.have smaller or larger ones to test on. No problems but the red and black shrink wrap tubes dont work too well.

I am going to be doing some projects where I will need to make some battery cables and grounds. This is a nice terminal end kit.

Very pleased with these cable lugs, theyre made from fairly thick copper pipe, it seems. Much better than a previous generic lug kit Ive purchased from Amazon. As well, they come with a very useful variety of lug opening diameters, so youll likely find what you need here. See also their bare-copper lugs for applications that dont need the enhanced corrosion resistance. Either way, Id recommend pairing these with dual-wall heatshrink to provide a great seal against the environment.

I already had a number of 1/0, 2/0, and 10awg lugs (maybe some 4awg? Cant remember) but it was annoying having to buy in-between sizes on the few occasions I need them. This kit isnt huge and I may need to replenish down the line, but at least I have most common sizes of larger gauge lugs on-hand if I need one unexpectedly.

A great variety of lugs that comes with heat shrink. I can never have enough of these things with my random jobs. Good quality copper lugs with the sizes marked on them, not many companies do that! This is a good set for your larger gauge needs!

This is a nice assortment of cable lugs, along with heat shrink tubing, organized neatly in a case. The lugs are all labeled with the gauge and hole size, and the hole sizes (5/16 and 3/8) are perfect for my battery terminals (military size terminals use them for the bolt that tightens against the post and the primary connector bolt, respectively). The heat shrink tubing is large enough to fit over the lugs, even the largest, which is handy if you ever forget to slide it on.
