I was excited these were advertised as “ultra clear” because I have two black outlets on my kitchen island that I need to cover and white ones look tacky. But when I installed these, I was disappointed they still appear white. Better than opaque ones, but definitely still very visible. However, they look great in the rest of my white outlets, so I decided to keep them. You can’t even tell they’re there from across the room. They look much better than the white Safety 1st brand I had leftover from my first baby. They also don’t rip your fingernails off when you try to remove them, which I appreciate. Other covers I have used are so hard to remove I might as well remove the whole outlet because I can’t use them. It would still take a baby a very long time to remove them on their own, and since no childproofing product is meant to be a substitute for adult supervision, I’m satisfied with the safety level. Overall great product, and as long as you aren’t trying to discretely cover dark covered outlets, I’d recommend them.

Nice quality for a good price.

We needed these safety items for our receptacles when my 15 month old grandson visits. I tried purchasing in local stores, but none of the shops I visited carried the item. I was pleased to find them on Amazon at a great price.

They’re too easy to remove.

Upon first installation they worked great but my 18 month old was able to get them out after a few days of messing with them. I now step on them from time to time in the middle of the night. He first used a toy to pry them out when I wasn’t looking... he was 15 months back then. He can now pull them out with his fingers. Please note that he can’t pull all of them out but he can get to about 10 of them. I’d say this is a good product for babies who are crawling but as soon as they start to become more mobile and try to figure things out these plug covers offer little to resistance. I would still buy these because they worked for a time when he wouldn’t listen to me because he was young and his attention span was non existent.

They work just fine. Its a simple item. But next time (and I do need more) I will buy some opaque white ones that block out the view of the outlet holes. They look nicer and the baby wont actually see the holes through the transparent plug cover.

These are a pretty basic item that has been around for years. They are clear plastic not the opaque white ones I am used to seeing. The seem very study. It could be to get a clear product they need to use a higher quality of resin. The only issue is that I now have several outlets with USB outlets built in. I didn’t think of it when I placed my order. I’m not concerned with the USB being uncovered. I think they have a very low power output. But the plus covers the usb just enough that it can’t be used. I guess it’s time for a better mouse trap
