The title says it all. These cables achieve full Thunderbolt 4 data transfer rates, and they work with everything Ive tested them on. While they are pricey, they are so much less expensive than the easier-to-find Apple Thunderbolt cables. Thank you OWC and Amazon.

All the various USB-C cables Ive got laying around became such a frustration, because some worked way better than others. And some didnt work AT ALL. Now I dont have to worry about whether the device Im connecting to is TB3, TB4, USB 3.1, USB 3.2, USB 4... this cord works for all of em.

Excellent cable, you pay what you get. One cable rules all. I have this to connect my iPad Pro to external display. It works like a charm. So you don’t have to spend double price on apple thunderbolt cable… lol..

This is the first Thunderbolt cable that I have owned that does exactly what it says it will do. The appearance is a sturdy well made cable, also long enough to use comfortably. If you are looking for a Thunderbolt 4 cable, this is it.

Das Kabel macht genau das was es soll! Bei mir als Verbindung vom Mac mini M1 zu einer externen SSD. Die Schreib/ Lesegeschwindigkeiten sind die gleichen wie mit anderen TB 4 Kabeln, bin somit mit der Leistung auch zufrieden. Ein Stern Abzug gibt’s von mir wegen der Optik. Ich besitze von OWC mehrere TB3/4 Kabel in verschiedenen Längen, dort sind die Stecker matt schwarz mit weißer Beschriftung (wie auf dem Produktbildern) das gelieferte besitzt eine graue Beschriftung mit den Spezifikationen und die Stecker sind glänzend. Das ist alles optischer Natur und tut der Leistung keinen Schaden. Klare Kaufempfehlung von meiner Seite!

Absolutely no issues with these cables so far. This is my second one and Ill likely get a few more. It handles the connectivity for several TB3 audio interfaces with no problems.

I use mine to connect my Logitech Brio Webcam to my monitor as the original cable was too long. You cant go wrong with Thunderbolt 4 cable as its future proof and OWC makes great products as I use their Thunderbolt 3 dock as well.

Thunderbolt is some pretty impressive tech. TB + Power Delivery is even moreso. I have a ThunderBolt 3 dock (CalDigit TS3 Plus), and a ThunderBolt 4 laptop (2011 MacBook Pro). With one cable I can power my laptop, drive a number of external displays (up to 4K) and connect to my most-used peripherals. The trick to all this is having a cable of sufficientl quality. A proper specced cable will be have the digital bandwidth and amperage delivery necessary. Do not bother with cheap Chinesium cables that cost 1/4 to 1/2 this OWC one. They will inevitably fail in some aspect. Also dont trust Thunderbolt cables that are much over 6 feet, they are out of spec. This cable did exactly what I wanted from the word go and has given me zero issues. $60ish may seem like a lot for a single computer cable, but remember this one is performing a number of tasks at once.

Ill spare you the details on OWC quality, but if you havent heard of OWC or have, but havent purchased anything of theirs, I can tell you first hand that all of the products that I have purchased are quality. They do not skimp on the quality of cables to save $0.05. If youre shopping for true TB4 cables and looking for one that is longer than 1M or 3ft, you might have ended up on this one. This cable is exactly 2M long (they dont short you a few inches, like some other brands do), and passes through signal with no issues. I am currently running a 5k2k ultra wide monitor as well as 2 USB downstream, which powers a qi charger and spare USB to charge my peripherals. As of 6.15.2022, this is one of the best cables you can purchase that has legit TB4 specs and has a length over 1.5M. High quality, would buy another one if I needed one, but hopefully I dont because they are expensive!
