> 3 dayIts a cable that connects an OWC dock to your laptop. Pretty simple... It works. A little overpriced, but it works. As a side note OWC tech dept. is really great!

> 3 dayIm the first person to buy everything Apple. Cords, certified cleaning cloth, cases, you get the idea. But I took a chance with this cable and it works great. Build quality and durability are great, and I saved quite a bit.

Greater than one weekExtremely slow. Attached to brand new MacBook Pro. Download a folder from card reader. Took almost twice as long as my ISB-C cables. I tried 3 different ones.

> 3 dayThunderbolt is some pretty impressive tech. TB + Power Delivery is even moreso. I have a ThunderBolt 3 dock (CalDigit TS3 Plus), and a ThunderBolt 4 laptop (2011 MacBook Pro). With one cable I can power my laptop, drive a number of external displays (up to 4K) and connect to my most-used peripherals. The trick to all this is having a cable of sufficientl quality. A proper specced cable will be have the digital bandwidth and amperage delivery necessary. Do not bother with cheap Chinesium cables that cost 1/4 to 1/2 this OWC one. They will inevitably fail in some aspect. Also dont trust Thunderbolt cables that are much over 6 feet, they are out of spec. This cable did exactly what I wanted from the word go and has given me zero issues. $60ish may seem like a lot for a single computer cable, but remember this one is performing a number of tasks at once.

> 3 dayIm using this cable to connect an Apple MacBook M1 Pro to a CalDigit TS4 Dock. I havent experienced any connectivity issues with this cable and the its additional length allows for a much easier connect/disconnect of the dock to the laptop. Ive used OWC products (memory, drives, and now this cable) in the past without issue. I trust them and appreciate that they charge a fair price for a high-quality product.
