I was concerned about how strong the magnets were going to be. The magnets are strong enough to hold my big gecko when she decides to sit on the ledge to eat and drink. I love that it is easy to clean and reposition.

This item works great! The magnets are super strong. No issues of an adult crestie being too much weight.

I bought this for my adult crested gecko in a Nat Geo glass reptile sanctuary. While this product did not list max weight supported the picture shows an adult crested so I assumed the super strong rare earth magnets would hold for my adult 40g crestie. I was wrong. He got towards the outer ledge and it dumped him unceremoniously on the ground. Fortunately for me I have a juvenile crestie in an exo-terra glass habitat that only weighs in at about 10g. It has worked well for him. Ultimately, I was not happy with the product for the money I spent, but am happy enough that I dont want to go through the process of returning it. I was going to try the more expensive one that stated how many adult geckos it could hold, but with the results from this one, I will probably look elsewhere for a solution.

Love this simple ledge, it has some pretty strong magnets that are sturdy enough to hold itself.

Just ordered a second one for a second crested gecko enclosure. Pangea and other manufacturers make suction cup ones, but the magnetic ones are much safer for your animals. Get the magnetic version and you wont regret it.

Awesome product! Simple and easy installation and relocation. Great for small geckos. Get the bigger one if you have a gecko over 6 grams or so. But awesome for a small gecko in a small enclosure.

High strength magnets that no gecko could pull down. I catch them climbing and eating on this ledge all the time.

I love this ledge! Our sub adult Crestie perches perfectly on it. The magnets are VERY strong. Youll want to have them slid apart and then slowly slide them up till they smack into place. The ledge holds very tightly, its great! The large replacement cups fit perfectly and hold a LOT of food. Our gecko took to it right away.
