Park Tool TL-6.2 Tire Lever Set
-
Sporster
> 3 dayIf you want the best tire tool sparing no expense then the TL-6.2 is one to own. I have the TL-1 in my bike bags and in the shop but constantly struggle with the 23-25 mm tires. The TL-6.2 tool is half as thick vs TL-1, and only 1 oz heavier per pair (2.01 oz for pair), BUT, this makes a huge difference in leveraging the tire off the rim. Especially, in the field or saving time at home. Clearly well worth the extra money when struggling and possibly pinching a tube or damaging a very expensive rim set. Do not second guess the price for a tool that will last a lifetime and save you a lot of aggravation.

> 3 dayThis is truly a must have for your tool kit. As my wrists get older, I cannot get the tight tires on the rims and this makes it really easy. Sorry I did not do this sooner

> 3 dayOh I wish I had these sooner. No more bending levers. And they are protected enough no damage to tires rims or tubes.

> 3 dayThese are hands down the best tire irons I have owned. If you have tubeless tires on either a mountain and/or road bike you’ll understand that these tire irons will not brake and will get that bead on the rim.

> 3 dayPark tools are the best on the market. Deep wheels with strong beaded tires are tough to remove. Not for these!

Its Me
> 3 dayI have a tirenthat is a stubborn SOB. Its like it wanted to be a 650b instead of a 29er. I though Id need a metal reinforced lever for the task so I bought these and for Park Tools reputation. These seemed to want to peal the plastic coating off and simultaneously scratch my rim while scraping rubber off my tire at the bead. Although Im sure I could have gotten them to work, it was better to use the Gorilla Force all plastic levers I bought at the same time. These barely bent and didnt scratch, which was perfect.

> 3 dayI’ve ordered these before and they were always metal core bur these are plastic through and through that I just received today. Not happy.

> 3 dayAwesome lever set. These are super strong, metal, levers with a nice plastic coating to protect those colored wheels. Great to throw in your camelbak or to even use in the garage. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

> 3 dayAfter breaking 4 nylon tire tools, these finally did the job of removing tubeless mtn bike tires!
