No other levers give the confident to assemble tires.. Expensive, but worth...

I really struggled changing tires on tubeless-ready wheels - just could not get enough leverage under the tire bead. These steel core levers make a big difference - the tips really grab the tire and the steel doesn’t bend, providing much more leverage than traditional plastic levers. They are slightly heavier than plastic levers, but fit into my bag.

I’ve ordered these before and they were always metal core bur these are plastic through and through that I just received today. Not happy.

No doubt, this is a fantastic product. I take it with me where ever I ride. I regret purchasing this though. Ive only changed two tires and it will probably be another couple years until I purchase more. Not worth the money. I only used this product for removing the tires. they were unnecessary for when I put them back on. I barely even needed this product when I removed the tire. No doubt, a cheaper set would have worked. I had on of these levers in my hand for a total of five seconds per tire removal. Dont waste your money on this wonderful project unless you change tires on a monthly basis. Still gave it five stars. I give myself 1 star for going with this product because it is overkill for how Ill be using it.

These work good. Very strong and well made. Steel core makes a difference over the cheaper all plastic ones. Just be cautious with the metal tips. They will scratch your rim and wreck your rim tape if your not paying attention on what your prying on.

Finally, a decent set of thingys to get my tyres off! Been struggling with el cheapo plastic ones from the UK for years- never crossed my mind to get some with metal in the middle- doh!

There are companies who make longer ones made out of steel but these are perfect for the smaller Bicycle bags. In fact I dont think the longer ones would work on tighter fitting tires like Mountain bikes have. I wish 3 of them came with the package but they were perfect for a very stubborn Mountain bike tire I had to put on the rim. My rim is painted so the fact they have a plastic covering over them prevented the rim from being scratched is perfect. There is a small bit of metal exposed at the end so take care when inserting them to prevent the rims from being scratched or chipped on the edge of the rim. Perfect tool for the job. I broke all my plastic ones :( never again. these will last a lifetime! Take it from someone who has owned bikes for 40+ years! These are the best! period!

good tire levers for stubborn bead tires, however I seem to puncture tubes with the exposed metal every time I have used them... so it kind of defeats the purpose when I have to remove the tire and reinstall a tube. you have to be very careful when seating the bead with these when using tubes. maybe for tubeless tires they are great, or peeling off a glued tubular? ill give three stars because it might just be me.

Having just snapped some REI levers into bits while trying to put a new tire on my mtb, I knew Id be replacing them with something from Park Tool. They have always been top notch, and these levers continue to uphold that reputation. The exposed metal tip made it easy to get the lever in place, and the slick plastic covering made the rest of the process of seating a Specialized GRID casing tire on a very tight wheel a complete breeze.
